Perfectly salted

Fantastic and healthy product!

I had the chance to taste the famous purple corn from PurplesFul Snacking in two different flavors this week! I have to say that I did not know anything about purple corn before tasting these, so I dig a little bit to nourish my curiosity. At first thought, purple corn seems odd – tempted to say it is full of GMOs. NO. Big mistake. It is in fact non-GMO, compared to traditional corn, and its color is due to the huge amount of antioxidants and anthocyanins. Knowing that, I find it super cool to do a snack like this with this kind of corn and makes It easier to understand why it is healthier than other popcorns.
I tasted the Sea Salt popcorn from PurplesFul Snacking at first. I am a huge lover of buttery/salty popcorn, I was afraid to be disappointed with just sea salt. What a surprise to discover the texture to this popcorn, making it absorbs all the flavours, and it is in fact really tasty! The sea salt flavour is well present, and the corns are softer and smoother than usual. The taste is pretty good, and the best thing about it, is that you do not have to feel guilty to eat a lot!!! Really surprised when looking at the nutritional chart (surprised in the good sense of course!). It will for sure be a snack I will buy again soon.

Crunchy and delicious purple popcorn

I recently tried Purplesful Snacking Popcorn Sea Salt flavor for the first time. I never had purple corn popcorn before, as far as I remember; the popcorn that I ate is always yellow corn. Before I opened the packaging, in my mind I’m thinking of purple color popcorn. I was surprised that I found that the color of the popcorn is white.
The texture of the popcorn is still crunchy and fresh.

I did not find any trace of the hull that still intact with the popcorn itself. Purplesful Snacking popcorn explained that the hull explodes when it is popped. In other hand, the traditional yellow corn hull is still intact with the popcorn. That made the yellow corn based popcorn often stuck in teeth when we eat it.

Purplesful Snacking Popcorn tasted just like yellow corn popcorn with lightly salted taste. The sea salt spread evenly on the popcorn. It did not overly salty.
From the size point of view, I noticed that Purplesful Snacking popcorn has a smaller size compared with yellow size popcorn.

Another thing about PURPLESFUL as well is they donate 25% or profits to local children's charities. Not only I am snacking a delicious ancient purple corn, non-GMO popcorn, it is also made me feel better since the snack that I ate is also helping some children in needs.

Light & Smooth Taste

The Purplesful Snacking's Sea Salt popcorn is everyone’s favourite. It tastes so light, & smooth with a hint of sea salt, creating a flavor that is both delicious, simple and healthy. My kids loved this one so much that it’s already finished. Such a perfect healthy snack for kids.

Simple and delicious

This popcorn is a great simple and lightly salted option to have on its own or use with other seasoning you have at home, I loved adding dill to mine. I’m obsessed with the fact that 25% of Purplesful profits go towards helping kids in low income communities making this snacking truly guilt free. I love that this popcorn has high fibre and a decent amount of iron. I did notice a reduction in the amount of times the hull would be stuck in my teeth compared to the yellow kernel popcorn I make at home, just as they claim! Which is great because I love popcorn but that feeling makes me sometimes choose another snack option, I don’t have to choose anymore. This is a great option for those who like a simple popcorn or want to add their own flavouring to a better for you popcorn. Very smooth and creamy popcorn.
