Works well for it's size

I got this small hair straighter in a Boxy-Charm subscription box a few months ago and finally decided to use and bring it with me when I went away for the weekend. Firstly, it's cute and very small so it was easy to pack in my suitcase as it took up little room. Lastly, it works well on my hair for it's size. Both times I used it, I blow-dried my hair first and let it rest for an hour or so before I straightened it. Due to it's size, it took a lot longer to straighten my hair, I had to tie it up, only do small sections at a time, and I had to go over each section a couple of times - the whole straightening process took way more time than I would normally spend on it. In rating it, I took into consideration that I have long thick hair that has a big of a wave to it, I think this would be perfect for someone with short hair, for that reason I rated it lower. I will probably bring it with me when I travel again, and use it for mid day touch-ups, but not to use it on newly washed hair, it was just too time consuming.

Way too small

I like this straightener for short hair styles. That being said; this tool is so small. it is the width of my first finger. Like I said good for short hair or maybe travel. However this is too small to be of any use to me and my long thick hair. It also does not have many functions besides on and off. I would have liked it yo have a temp gauge. All in all it's cute, but way over priced. More of a novelty.

Not for me...

I bought this at a mall kiosk after trying it out and was very impressed by how well it worked. However, the results didn't last very long. My hair started become wavy just after an hour. I have thick curly hair and believe this straightener is better suited for someone with a smoother hair type. I also don't believe it is worth the price tag. On another note, the curler from this company is amazing, but again, a little too expensive.
