There is nothing like the original Q-Tip. The cotton tip has never come off, is always soft, and the "stick" that the swab is attached to does not poke through the the cotton. I have tried many store brand swabs and either give them away or throw them out. The things I listed above have happened to me with the cheaper brands. So many people think of Q-TIPS for cleaning ears. They are very versatile. They are used in the kitchen to clean around rims of water bottles. They are in the garage for spreading grease on different things and the cotton does not leave fluff. They are used for make-up, spreading ointment on cuts. I never use my finger to wipe ointment or creams out of tubes. Don't want to spread germs. Q-tip works wonders for that. I could go on and on with all the different things that Q-tips are used for. I can always depend on the original Q-tip to get the job done without the cotton tip coming off, leaving fluff or being soft and gentle on my face or ears.

There are so many uses for cotton swabs besides ear cleaning. I use it to apply creams or cleaning between tiles for grime. I love Q-Tips Cotton Swab

I only ever buy Q Tips brand for the main reason being that all other tips are extremely inferior to Q Tips. I once saw a very large package on special and so I purchased them on the spot thinking Wow what a great deal! I got home and tried them a few days later and OMG yuck! The only thing they were good for was maybe to be used in some kind of arts and crafts project. I could not stand them. Back to Q Tip brand for me.

Come on now. These are iconic. I never call these "cotton swabs" we all call them Q-tips and buy and use Q-tips. Nothing else will do, they rule the land!

Must must have, The best for makeup application, removal and cleaning ears! I often use for first aid, application of polysporin! I love qtip brand because they are never cheap and you dont end up stabbing cottonless spike into your ear!! Owww

I love these Q-tips. I've tried other brands in the past and I don't like them, now I only ever buy Q-tip brand cotton swabs. I love that the q-tip is padded enough that it doesn't hurt like other brands. Very durable and a great price too!

I use Q-tips for everything from applying/removing makeup to cleaning remotes/keypads. It's the perfect size for smaller jobs. I like to get the Costco size package.
