LOVE to use Q-tips to take off eye makeup; they really help to get into the crevices.

They also work well to remove nail polish and give a more intricate removal.

I use these every single day .. Perfect for fixing makeup mistakes, great to clean ears etc .. and even use it in my cleaning to get into those small areas you cant clean .. its always something we buy and have in stock at our house and we love it !!

Q-Tip brand cotton swabs are head and shoulders above their competitors when it comes to comfort. The wand is durable so it doesn't flex and bend too much when you are trying to use it. The cotton tip is fluffy and full yet compact. This is important when using the swab when you need precision such as touching up make-up. Nothing worse then immersing your swab in make-up remover and it just becomes a gloopy mess and falls off the wand, or you gouge your sensitive eye area with the end of the wand. These ones stay nice and compact so you can neatly clean up wherever needs cleaning up, make-up wise or the intricate folds of your ears. I also trusted only Q-Tip brand to clean around my newborns umbilical cord. I will never use any other brand.

I've used other brands like cheep no name ones and they are nothing compared to Q-tips! Q-tips are stronger and durable for all sorts of uses. Cleaning your ears, applying makeup or doing crafts. I've learned my lesson a couple times buying cheaper brands but no more Q-tips are the only way to go!

Love the way it works. Can use them for anything including painting. Great for an itchy ear also. Have used them to clean a wound and then apply the stuff to make a cut heal properly.

I'm the kind of person who normally chooses a no name product over a branded one any day. Q-tips is the ONE exception to this rule, quite literally. I have tried various unbranded cotton swabs over the years, and have never been pleased with the results. While for most products, a no name will do just as good a job, this is one product where that just isn't the case.
I'm mainly pleased with the stiffness of the stick. I can get some real pressure going when I'm using them to clean, and can get the job done much faster. Of course I use them in my ears too, and there too the stick is just right.
There also really does seem to be more cotton on each end. With some other brands, I've often felt the stick through the cotton, which is no good at all.
Q-tips have been consistent and reliable for years. Exactly what I want.
