Q-tips advertise the most cotton on the tip of any brand and I have to say that it's absolutely true. Comparing them to no name brands I can definitely see and feel the difference. Another way they're superior is the stiffness of the stick itself, on cheap brands it's very flexible, meaning you can't get a good clean on (THE OUTSIDE) of your ear without it bending. I've never had the bending problem with the Q-tips brand.

You should never, ever put these in your ear canal, but they can be used to clean the outside of the ear and for makeup as well. However, my fave use for Q-tips has to be doing deep cleaning on all those tricky small spots in the house. They work great for getting under buttons and bringing out the grime!

Q-tips are the only cotton swabs I buy. We have tried the store brand ones but they are inferior, and don't work as well. We use cotton swabs for a lot of things from makeup to first aid applications etc. Definitely worth the money, and one product I will never buy generic.

Don't bother with no-name or copy cat products. Q-tips Cotton Swabs is the only cotton swabs that I'll purchase. The tip has more cotton, which makes it more effective for a variety of uses: make-up application, manicures, and cleaning. I especially like using it to clean around small areas that my hands can't reach. The full cotton tip absorbs well and (more importantly) the plastic tip won't hurt you (ie. make-up application) because of the amount of cotton wrapped around it. I once got scratched around the eye when I used a no name cotton swab because there wasn't enough cotton around the tip and the plastic poked through it.

Q-Tips are the only brand I will use. I hate the stupid plastic ones that dollarstores and no name brands use. These are durable and can withstand liquids well. I also find the cotton is less likely to fall off or get clumped in your nail polish than other brands. My mom has been buying this brand since I was a baby, I will carry on the tradition.

Great to have around for cleaning hard to reach spots and these can be used for eye shadow brushes in a pinch. Q-tip brand cotton swabs are a great quality swab where the cotton doesn't come off the tip during use.

Super sturdy cotton swabs, reasonably priced. Tons in a box and you won't get any of those ones that don't even actually have any cotton on them. I use these for when I do my eye makeup and my eyebrows and also to remove nail polish from around the edge of my nails cause I suck at painting my nails and I get nail polish everywhere.

I've used these my whole life and it's my go-to brand of q-tips, they are great for multiple uses including makeup touch ups etc... my parents were buying these and now I am, we'll be using them for life

My mom used these when i was i kid and i always ave a bow in the bathroom ...my kids and i used to make winter crafts with these !!! they are good when you need to clean a wound too.also great to use when applying salve to a cut aor burn... gentle on skin . strong these will not break when using

Q tips are always in my house. They work great for ears, makeup removal, cleaning and crafting. They are way more durable than no name brands and have more cotton on the ends. Not too much either. Definitely recommend!
