Breakfast of Champions
Quaker Oats is a heart healthy whole grain that makes it the breakfast of champions. I just love mine plain so that I can add my own little touch to it to kick it up a notch. I just add water to a half cup of oatmeal, a scoop of vanilla protein powder, a dash of cinnamon and raisins for sweetness. Cold or hot is a personal choice and I love it both ways.
This is always on my shopping list.
I have to follow a strict gluten free diet so I often use oats in place of breadcrumbs, like in meatloaf. I also like to turn it into oat flour in the food processor and use it to make pancakes or muffins. It's also a great bargain.
Good for so many things
I use these oats as part of recipes, but also for non-food things too!
These are good for making face masks that are exfoliating out of. In addition, I use this for good ol' oatmeal too, and even cookies.
These cook very easily, and have a good taste to them.
The canister is not very expensive and does last.
A Family Pantry Staple
Our family always has Quaker Old-Fashioned Oats in our household. From breakfasts to baking, and even smoothies, it's a multipurpose item that's healthy for us. The value and quality are great. Our favorite way to eat Quaker oats is to make oatmeal for breakfast, add a bit of protein powder and berries for flavor!
Love em. Eat them daily. I do 1:1 with water, (e.g. a little less than 1 cup each), 3 min in the microwave, then I add more milk and eat (with sugar and raisins). Better texture this way than steel cut, and way faster to cook.
