Not Sweet Enough
I was so excited to try this overnight oats. Prep was super simple- just add milk to the line, put the lid back on and refrigerate overnight. I tried it cold the next morning, and did not care for it at all. It was really bland, and hard to eat. The raisins and walnuts were good, but the oatmeal was tasteless. It wasn't sweet enough for me, and I didn't want to add any extra sugar to it. I definitely won't be buying this again.
Nutritif!
Perfect on the go breakfast
I have purchased these overnight oats twice now (I tried the other flavour as well) I really enjoyed the concept. Place in the fridge overnight with your choice of milk (I used vanilla almond milk) and presto breakfast is ready to go out the door when you are. The only draw back in my option was it was a bit too sweet. Would probably but again with a coupon
ma saveur préférée
C'est ma saveur préférée des deux saveur présentement disponible.
Les ingrédients sont frais et c'est simple d'utilisation. Ce déjeuner me soutient toute l'avant-midi jusqu'au diner.
easy breakfast
My family eats oats regularly it is a staple in our home.
When I saw the advertisement for QUAKER OVERNIGHT OATS I was intrigued.
I liked the idea of having my breakfast ready to go in the mornings especially with a toddler to get ready in the mornings on top of a dog to walk and getting my son to daycare and then getting to work on time I barely have time to make breakfast.
These are delicious, it tastes good on its own or with additions like fruit and yogurt. I feel like the portion size is ok if you are eating something else along with your oatmeal otherwise its not enough.
I actually was more interested in these for travel purposes. I had it ready to go for my son and honestly this is not good for that. It made a huge mess in my bag. The lid does not really keep the liquid from spilling so this is not ideal for prepared day trip snacks. but it is good if you are in a hotel and wan to have a healthier snack for you or your kids because you can put it in the mini bar for an hour or so and its ready to eat.
Overall this is a good product. I think Quaker needs to rethink the lid design from spillage and the price is pretty hi for only 2 portions. I would only buy this on sale with coupons, which is what I did.
Not worth buying
Quaker overnight oats in walnut, raisin and honey were disgusting. they tasted like alcohol and it was way too expensive for two small containers of oatmeal which were practically empty.
moyen
Nice Concept - Bad Taste
Liked the concept of this and I am always looking for something quick, easy and hopefully somewhat nutritious in the morning for breakfast. First off the packaging is nice, you get two little containers for about $2.50 CDN which is pretty good, instructions on how to prepare as very straightforward and it is just as simple as pouring milk in and leaving overnight. The consistency is ok the morning when your supposed to eat them but I couldn't get over the taste. It tasted like raw oats and milk, while I know this is basically what it is, I didn't expect it to take like it. The bad taste is a deal breaker for me, I was disappointed and will not be re buying them.
fast morning
I like preparing these before I got to bed so in the morning I just stick a spoon in each container and shablamo, my kids breakfast is all done! They like it.
Didn’t like It
This product tasted so bad to me. And it wasn’t cheap! $4.99 for a pack of two. I bought it on sale for $2.49 (thank God). I don’t mind the cost if the taste was good. But it wasn’t, the textures wrong, the taste is wrong, even the smell...it smelled like raw flour! It wasn’t sweet enough for me. It just tasted like bland chalk in milk with your random walnut and raisins mixed in. It’s a no from me.
