Not My Fav. Flavour- But Great For Nut Lovers

I bought this on sale at Rexall for $0.26 cents- crazy, right?!. Apparently, this bar is being discontinued, so it was on sale for $2.26- and then there was a $2 off sticker since the expiry date is coming up. Each bar is 210 calories. It contains over 50 per cent of daily fibre.

The taste of the bar is sweet and nutty. There is a strong sweet peanut flavour. There are almond pieces spread throughout the bar. The almonds are soft, so they add a mild crunch without making it hard to bite. This bar tastes delicious microwaved for around 20 seconds. It makes the bar take on a fluffy soft cookie texture- as opposed to a chewier texture. This isn't my favourite Quest bar flavour- my favourite is Mint Chocolate Chunk- but I'd eat it again if someone gave it to me.

Peanut butter and jelly sandwich...

This protein bar reminded me of the childhood classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I got this from Homesense for $2.99 plus tax for a bar. I had never seen them sold in Canada before so I was super excited. The bar is 220 calories each and contains a great amount of protein and fibre. This can can be eaten straight from the package or heated in the microwave or oven for a different taste profile and texture. I felt that the jam flavor was very prominent and I wish the peanut butter taste was stronger. The peanut butter flavor came out more when the bar was heated. I felt this bar had a nice sweetness to it and there were peanuts throughout which added a nice crunch and a good nut flavor. I would get this again if I saw it! I like that it reminds me of my favorite sandwich in a protein bar.

Chewy Healthy Bar- PB with a little bit of jelly

As soon as I opened the wrapper, I smelled the familiar scent of childhood peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I got this from Winners for $2.29. This bar can be eaten straight out of the wrapper or microwaved for 20 seconds (be careful not to burn it). When warmed, it is a bit softer in texture, as opposed to being firmer and chewier. I highly recommend microwaving the bar to bring out the peanut butter flavour. If this is your first Quest bar, the firmer grittier texture can be a bit off-putting but it gets better as you get used to the bars. The strongest taste in this bar is the peanut butter. There is also a hint of the strawberry jelly that comes through in some bites- like a peanut butter sandwich with only a little bit of jelly. I do wish the jelly flavour was a bit more prominent. The nuts provide a nice crunch to the bar. Each bar has 220 calories and 20 grams of protein. It also contains 13 grams of fibre (53% daily recommended intake) and 15 per cent recommended calcium intake. I'd have this again if I found it for this price. It's not my favourite flavour but it's decent. A close taste profile is the Peanut Butter Supreme Quest Bar.

I love this product

Love the taste of these quest bars. They have so many different flavors and are not too expensive. They taste really good baked, microwaved or even by themselves. Perfect for on the go snack.

I decided to try these as a healthy snack to boost my protein intake and I found I liked some flavours while others were so-so. The ones I do like are the cookie dough, peanut butter and strawberry cheesecake. The nutritional value was there and I did feel full after eating just one bar. It needed to be pretty soft/warmer for me to enjoy as I found if I put it in my lunch kit with an ice pack, it became really hard making it difficult to eat. Overall, not a bad protein bar, the nutritional value is good, but I feel like there may better options out there that taste better, have a better consistentcy.

I had given up on protein bars because I just couldn't take the horrible after taste. I tried a few of the quest flavours and found that I could actually enjoy the chocolate flavours they have. I was not a fan of the peanut butter flavour and the chocolate chip cookie dough. Overall I think the taste is pretty good but the price is pretty high, I would love to incorporate them into my daily routine but would not be able to afford it.

Good product as far as flavor goes. Decent amount of fiber as well, few fat. Very good also if microwaved. I buy on sale if they are discounted but would not pay the full price. A good treat every once in a while but not something filling enough to rely on on a daily basis in my opinion as its small as far as protein bars go.

Quest bars are delicious and have very little (almost none) net grams of carbs. They are very filling and most are under 200 calories, and there is a whole lot of variety to choose from. The only downside is that they are pricey!

I have been eating various varieties of these protein bars for a few weeks since my health problems. The doctor said eat extra protein. I don't always want to cook and eat meat. I found these and bought several, even though the price was higher than most. They taste very good and not hard nor cardboard tasting like some. I've been having 1 a day as my lunch and I like them.

I love quest bar. They are super healty (so much protein). The packging is cute. The flavor are so yummy. The only thing I dont like about this bars is the price and the location. They are super hard to find were I live and when I find them they are price.
