This was the first eyelash glue I've ever used n I never could apply it close to my tearducts or all the eyelashes with the glue come near to that inner corner. My eyes would start to water n also start to sting. It was fine when I applied to the outside but there would still be a vague stinging sensation. The remover works fine, there is nothing particularly special about it.
