Just like regular blotting paper, they do the job. The paper becomes clear when it absorbs the oil and it has a tendency to rip apart when playing too much with it. When you buy them, you get a lot of sheets and a bad side about them is that they are really really thin so when you pull them out of the packaging you pull 3 or 4 at the same time when you only need one of them.
