My kids received this for Christmas and we've watched it several times through already. We all love this movie! It really has everything - humor, food, charismatic characters, bad guys, true love.... a great film! It's really clean and free of innuendo. As a parent, I was horrified at the Shrek trilogy for the excessive sexual references and refuse to allow it in the house (although as an adult I did enjoy it). I hate it when movies rely on sex, bodily functions, or gratuitous violence to make the story sell - it just proves the writers have a bad plot and are disguising the fact.

Ratatouille gets my 110% endorsement, because it's a clean and truly entertaining flick for all ages.

I LOVE this movie! I put this under the tree of nearly every friend and family member this past Christmas. The story and animation are done so well that you may even forget that you're watching a cartoon. Remy is done well and Linguine is spot on in capturing a socially awkward young man lacking confidence trying to make his way in the world. What I liked best about this movie, though, is that, as far as I know, this is the first Disney/Pixar film where humans have such anchoring roles. Listing off all the films I can think of, its always something imaginary, an animal/bug, or an inanimate object (that is animated, har) that takes the main role: A Bug's Life, The Incredibles, Monsters Inc., Cars, Toy Story, etc ... DEFINITELY rent or buy this movie if you haven't already seen it!

I loved this movie! I think it's probably the cutest Pixar cartoon ever!! In all the other ones, there is always one or two characters I wasn't crazy about because I don't think they are cute enough. But I adore all the characters in this movie. Linguini was so sweet and all the rats were so funny that they just made me laugh. The best thing about this movie was the theme; I love to cook and a cartoon about a cooking rat was fantastic!! I hope I get a copy of that under the X'mas tree this year!! *grin*

This movie was an absolute delight to watch! Pixar recently had a movie or two that I did not LOVE as much as I did their earlier stuff but this movie is right up there with their earlier stuff that I love. I agree with MissChickie, the animation and character detail make this movie a hit. I have not bought it yet but only because I plan to put it on my Christmas wish list! The special features were fun to watch as well! I love how they also mentioned my home province in it! Watch this movie if you get a chance...better yet go out and buy it so you can watch it over and over again! :o)

This movie is amazing. The animation, the character details, the voices -- everything is just fantastic. I am absolutely in love with it. I generally don't like to watch movies over again, but this one is so good you could watch it repeatedly and see something new each time. There is just so much detail and such great character development.

The special features are also really worth watching. They make an interesting argument about rats.

I dare you not to like this movie.
