This is really poor quality yarn. This is considered to be an "economy size" line of yarn, and the price reflects that. It is very inexpensive and it comes in large balls. However, the quality is really poor. Other brands, like Bernat, make "super value" yarns that are a lot nicer, for the same price. This is good practice yarn for kids, but I wouldn't use it for an actual worthwhile project.
