I have 2B-2C low porosity hair and tried using this serum to control the wave/curl I get as well as to tame frizz. I was recommended this product by staff at the local Ulta. I am typically a shower and go type of person, so on days I work I would apply the serum with the praying hands method and plop while getting ready. After I'd take my hair out I'd scrunch some more and go. On non-wash days I would re-wet my hair and add as needed. If my wash day was on a non-working day I'd plop for about an hour and then dry with a diffuser. I found that my curl was more defined with the diffuser which wasn't a surprise, but both methods I still got a lot of frizz. If I tried to add a little more product it left my hair feeling dirty/greasy. I did have some days however where I did get a good combination of frizz control and curl definition without feeling too weighed down. Overall this product worked better than some others had, but for the price wasn't my favorite. I would probably need to utilize this product with something else.
