GIVES AMAZING BEACH WAVES. If you're trying to get that beach wave, or just some loose curls this is for you. It works for tight curls as well. I'm obsessed.

Not great for fine thin hair

This curling wand doesn't really appreciate my fine thin hair that doesn't hold a curl.

It's awkward to use - as it's not an iron with a clip, but you have to put on the included heat resistant glove and roll your hair tight in the curling wand, hold it for a minute or so, and hope there is a curl in it.

Perhaps someone with thicker hair or more morning time would appreciate this curler more than I do, but it's nor very effective for my hair.

I do like the digital temperature screen, that you can increase temperature mid way through curling, and that it has an automatic shut off - I always forget to unplug appliances, so that's a great safety feature.

Salon style or not, I've never seen a curling iron like this at a salon!
