Smoothing but not Brightening
I received a foil pack sample of the REN 1 Minute Facial as part of my Sephora order recently. While I was intrigued by its added Vitamin C that is supposed to instantly brighten skin, I found that the facial only really smoothed my face rather than brightening or toning. A full size product is currently at Sephora for $58 and I don't understand the high price point considering my results. However, I could see how using it regularly might provide better results.
The 1 Minute Facial has been very well reviewed elsewhere and even won product of the year in 2014. I can only assume this is because after repeated uses the results are more evident. REN is a luxury brand and the flash rinse facial is formulated without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates, if any chicks are looking for products without those ingredients.
Although I didn't find it useful perhaps those with other skintypes will. I have combination oily skin, large pores, with redness as a concern.
