“Açaí Twist” is Berry Good! I’m ordering it again.
In the past, Açaí has not been a favorite, and I had never heard of Maca*. So, I was prepared not to like this.
* FYI: The maca plant, known scientifically as Lepidium meyenii, is sometimes referred to as Peruvian ginseng.
•Maca is a cruciferous vegetable and therefore related to broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage and kale. It has a long history of culinary and medicinal use in Peru.
•The main edible part of the plant is the root, which grows underground. It exists in several colors, ranging from white to black.

I was prepared not to like this one,
but, surprise, I did!
The taste is amazing, and this is one I will reorder! This is an antioxidant rich smoothie! Açai, blueberries, cherries, and raspberries are antioxidant-rich superfoods that reverse the effect of aging and protect the body from harmful pathogens. There are also some beets in for detoxification, but you wouldn’t know it
I made this with Wolfberry [Goji Berry] juice for an extra boost to my immune system.
