Horrible mascara. I'm going to give this the benefit of the doubt and say I got a bad tube. This was a lovely bold black color but the formula was ultra thick and hard to apply. Forget about adding coats - it just smudged all over my lids and made my Eyelashes stick together. There was nothing redeeming about this mascara except the color. I will not waste my money on this again - even if it was on sale for $1.

This mascara wasn't that great. When I first used it, it was already extremely thick and had lots of those little mascara balls. The wand wasn't that great either because little pieces of the bristles would come off and it would feel like it was stabbing me in the eye or it would actually come off ONTO my eyelash while applying the mascara. It says the mascara is for length and volume, but it didn't really do too much. I don't recommend this product. For the same price (and sometimes even cheaper), you can get a different mascara that works 10 times better.

I'm on the fence about this mascara. I do really like it, I find it applies well and definitely makes my lashes look longer and thicker. The formula is also very dark, which makes my eyes pop. However, for the price I paid there is almost nothing in the tube - I've only used it twice and it's nearly empty. And it irritates my eyes like no other! I don't know if it's the "fibers" that are in the mascara, but I definitely can't have this stuff on my eyes all day.

While I found that the formula was similar to Lash Potion, it was the brush that sparked my interest in this new mascara. Unlike the spaced out bristles of Lash Potion, Bold Lacquer has more tight knit bristles with the same fluffy-type brush. However Bold Lacquer has a smaller brush, which you can see compared in the picture below.It adds a lot of volume at the root and gives your lashes a fluttery feel. One of the best things about this mascara is that it lasts and doesn’t smudge or transfer the mascara past the lash line. It distributes evenly to capture amazing volume and length. I liked how it coated every lash after just a few coats, and the light texture isn’t too wet. My lashes look natural and not heavy thanks to the lightweight formula. Perfect for everyday wear, this mascara doesn’t add crazy over the top drama. If you’re looking for mascara for a night out, skip this more natural mascara.

Great, affordable and effective mascara. Very dark black, will add volume and length to your lashes. Makes it easy to create the dramatic and intense look.

I feel like I'm sitting on the fence for this product. It does not clump, goes on smooth, stays on well and doesn't smudge. What id didn't like was that it didn't make my eyelashes look that much longer, and as a personal preference I prefer a curved brush for easier application.

I like the Revlon Bold Lacquer Length and Volume Mascara. It goes on very well, no clumping. The brush is good on it as well. It lasts about 6 hours before it starts to smudge but that is pretty good since I have oily skin. It comes off easily enough as well with eye makeup remover.

I love mascara. At any given time I'll probably have 5-8 different brands in my makeup drawer, both high end cosmetic brands and drugstore brands. I received my Revlon Bold and Laquer in a monthly beauty subscription box I get each month. This mascara is not as good as a mascara from high end brands like Smashbox, Laura Geller or Sorme, but compared to other drugstore brands, this mascara is worth having. The price is much more attractive than those for high end mascaras and it's nice having one that thickens and lengthens since you usually only find that they do one or the other. This mascara definitely lengthens better than it thickens which is why I always layer it with another mascara to get the full thick eyelashes I want. This mascara isn't good enough for me to wear all alone, but it works great when layered with 1 or 2 other brands. The color is jet black and it has a nice full round brush. I do feel the consistency is a little on the dry side which can cause the dreaded flaking. So far it hasn't been a huge problem, but it seems like this mascara will probably dry out quicker in the tube than I'd like. As soon as I notice any flaking, I throw any mascara in the trash no matter how much is left. I've had my Revlon Bold and Laquer since the beginning of March and it's still okay.

Now, it's about $11 at my local store, and they overstocked, so it went on sale for $3, and me loving my coupons had about 6 coupons for $3 off any revlon product and me not being able to pass up a sale half the time let alone FREEBIES! decided to get them, and boy do I regret that!, I mean I didn't even pay anything and I feel ripped off!, it's an ungodly high price for such a terrible quality of mascara!, I would not recommend it to my worst enemy!!.

I don't find it worth the price because I find it doesn't provide my eyelashes with any volume at all. I have long eyelashes already so I am not sure about the length but the two things that really bothered me about this mascara was that it wasn't black at all and it also flakes. Not my favourite in my opinion.
