100% OF CHICKS DIG IT
While I don't like these as much as the Colourburst Matte Balm, I still think that they're worth a look.
These are comfortable to wear on the lips, though I notice they don't feel quite as smooth or hydrating as their matte counterparts. They also seem to lack that refreshing, minty sensation.
The pigmentation is good, but it wears off quite easily throughout the day due to its glossy nature. These also have more of a tendency to smudge outside the lip line than the matte versions do -- those ones really hugged the lips and stayed put without bleeding or feathering.
If you don't like a matte lip colour, these are fine. If you don't mind matte, I'd definitely go with the other ones.
I really liked the color options, tease is my go-to for the perfect kissable red! If you are someone just starting out in makeup, a balm is a nice alternative to lipstick because lipstick can be waxy and flake off during the hours you're at work. But a balm will last you from breakfast to date night. Now it's your turn :)
I have the colour "115 Whimsical" and it isn't as staining as the regular colorburst lip balms, but it still gives a nice wash of colour. It does have some sparkle in it and a very glossy finish. I just wish it lasted a bit longer on my lips, that is my only complaint.
Other than that, great product and would purchase again :)
love this, love the colours and i love how it looks on, plus its lasts for so long!
Pros:
It is long-lasting. Ive drank out of glasses and water bottles without having to re-apply. You don't need to apply a lot, just a little bit spreads well.
Con:
only one - it doesn't make your lips feel soft, like you may expect a balm to. As a lip colour its fine, dont expect it to double as a blam
I have a Laquer Balm in Vivacious, which is a vibrant, cool-toned pink. The colour payoff is excellent and the product applies very smoothly. It isn't particularly long-lasting, particularly when compared to the original Balm Stains, but is rather average for a creamy lipstick.
