I deal with issues related to combination skin, redness, and acne, so it's always been difficult for me to find a foundation that covers all of these problems without wearing off over the course of the day. Also, my combination/oily skin always gave me problems when finding a foundation.
Revlon ColorStay foundation for Combination/Oily Skin, however, is great! I started buying it a few years ago, and haven't needed to switch brands. It lasts all day, covers the way I want it to, and blends easily. It doesn't clog my pores, and it has a bunch of shades to choose from (to match your skin colour).
i have been using this product for a while now and it is a great product however i believe it is a bit too pricey! this product doesn't add any extra weight which i love and stays on throughout the whole day which is also what i love. They do not have a wide range of skin tones to choose from so that might throw some people off and also i am more into the easy disposal with the press down thing, which this product does not have. It glides on softly and doesn't give my skin any acne. Overall i think it is a great product and do recommend people to give it a try.
I would say this is a medium/full-coverage foundation - buildable coverage for sure! I really do love this product and would say that it's comparable to some of the higher end foundations out there. The price, is of course, much more appealing than what MAC or NARS has to offer.
This foundation definitely does live up to its name, because it STAYS ON. You have to make sure to wash your face thoroughly before going to bed - I will usually wash my face with spectro gel and then use a toner. I find that this method works best. If I don't wash my face properly, I WILL break out the next morning :(
What I love about the product is the color selection and the fact that you can choose based on your skin type - whether you have combination/oily or normal/dry skin. This is perfect for me because I have SUPER oily skin in the summer, but quite flaky, dry skin in the winter.
The only thing I don't like about this product is the smell - although that's just me being picky. Otherwise, it's a great buy!
Best long lasting high coverage foundation I have ever used. I used it for my wedding and I looked wonderful.
I love this foundation! It is very long lasting and has a great coverage. However, I don't like the combination/oily skin one, even though that is my skin type. It is really really thick and kind of hard to blend in. For me, the Normal/Dry skin one is much much better, which is weird since my skin is nowhere near dry. But it doesn't make your skin oily, and it blends really well.
Went out to search for a new liquid foundation as I have been using sheer cover powder for awhile and haven't used liquid foundation for quite awhile. I've heard good things about Revlon overall but haven't tried much by them until I got the foundation.
I have to say, it was just an average experience for me. There wasn't really anything special about it. It goes on much like every other liquid foundation I have tried. I don't think it lasts very long. By the time half the day is over it's mostly already off of my face even when I used a primer underneath.
I wouldn't really recommend this product to anyone because of this reason. It gives good coverage, but only for a short amount of time so if you want something temporary it's ok, but for long-term it's not a very good product.
After years of trying different foundations, I came across Revlon Color Stay for combination/oily skin. if you don't know what type of skin that is *hoping i'm not the only one with the T zone problem* I will explain. When I wear makeup it goes on great but after a while my face begins to look oily on my T-zone (forhead/nose bridge) This foundation helps keep my skin look fresh longer! If you have the same type of skin as I do, I highly suggest you try it!
I bought this foundation after watching a review on youtube (don't remember from whom thought). I bought the "150 buff chamois" colour and it cost about $22, which is still less than any high end brand. I like this foundation because it has an SPF of 6. The formula of this product provides a medium to heavy coverage, which is what I was looking for in a foundation at the time. It's a little bit hard to blend with fingertips or a sponge, so I would recommend stippling it on with a brush. Sometimes i even use this foundation as a concealer by just dapping it on a blemish. It lasts for a very long time! If you're looking for a high coverage, long-wearing drugstore foundation, then this is definitely one of the best you can buy
I LOVE this foundation. The coverage is great completely covers up all my imperfections and makes me face look smooth and perfect. There is a smell but it doesn't bother me. I was so happy to have an even skin tone for once after using this product. I got it as close to my skin tone as possible (caramel) and the spf in it doesn't hurt.
My Holy Grail
I have a very oily skin so finding that perfect foundation is so critical but Revlon Colorstay is the best! The make up last for the whole day; just powder your face after and your all set. I must say with certainty, I will stick to this product.
Likes:
* Oil-Free
* Colour - although I was scared using beige, it did not gave me a whitish cast face.
* Coverage - build the coverage from sheer/light to heavy/full.
* Price
Dislikes:
* Packaging - the bottle does not contain a pump so I end up pouring a lot of it on the back of my hand, but through practice I was able to get the hang of it.
* Smell - a plastic-like scent at first but after a while it's fine.
