I bought this because it has so many good reviews on many different websites. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I wasn't very happy with this foundation. I purchased it in the Oily/Combination skin formula.

First of all, you need to work very fast when applying it, as it will dry right away. Using a wet sponge will help with this, but if you don't have much experience with liquid foundation you might find it frusterating to apply.

I also don't like the way it feels on my skin. It feels very heavy, and I can tell I'm wearing it.

The coverage is very good, I have lots of acne scarring and it definitely works at covering that, but I'm not sure how good this foundation is for acne-prone skin. It seems very hard to remove, and feels like it's clogging my pores.

Overall, this foundation has good coverage, but it feels very heavy and I wouldn't reccommend it for acne-prone skin.

This foundation might be quite pricey for a drugstore brand, but its quality is comparable to the most high-end beauty brands at a fraction of the price. It covers everything from dark undereye circles to redness around the nose to blemishes and acne. It applies very smoothly and sets in a waterproof finish. Just make sure to blend quickly as it takes a short time to set and will not budge until you wash it with soap or use makeup remover. It does not break me out but it will if you do not remove it completely at night. (Oil-based removers work best.) I've heard a lot of complaints from people with yellow-toned skin about this foundation being too pink for them. I am Asian and have yellow-toned skin but 180 Sand Beige matches my skin perfectly. It's just one tone above Nude; it has the same shade but it's yellow-based rather than pink-based.

As long as you take the time to choose the colour that's right for you, and apply/remove it efficiently, this foundation should be perfect for you. It's definitely an HG for me.

I love this foundation. I prefer medium to heavy coverage foundations for my skin. Although I don't typically get alot of breakouts, I do have alot of redness to my complexion. This foundation covers it beautifully. I apply it with my fingers and simply blend it in.

Now I must warn everyone, this foundation does dry fast. Now I don't like to spend alot of time doing my makeup so that feature is actually pretty conveinent for me, but you have been warned if you like to spend alot of time blending in your makeup. Its also very buildable which I like. If I was just a simple medium coverage i just add a touch of this foundation, however if i choose to add another layer my face will still look fabulous (no cakey looks!)

All in all this is a great foundation for a decent price. I recommend everyone to try it out.

This foundation is often times said to be the best drugstore foundation on the market, and often times compared to MAC Studio Fix Fluid. I love MAC's Studio Fix Fluid, but for me Revlon Colorstay was not that great of a hit. Being fair skinned, I have a hard time finding drugstore foundation that match my skintone, they are either too yellow or too pink and many times they just do not carry my colour. I attempted twice with Revlon Colorstay, I bought the shade in Buff (too dirty looking) and Ivory (too pale). I think the foundation is good, except for the fact that you have to work fast because it does dry quickly on your face, but I still cannot wear it because the two colours just do not match me correctly, there is no match for my skin. I wish Revlon would cater more to fair-skinned girls! There are many of us! I prefer the Photo Ready foundation that Revlon makes because in that, I can find my colour!

    It lasts very long.

I have used this makeup foundation for many years now and it has never failed me. When I apply it, though, it feels quite heavy, as if I am applying paint. I am not fond of the way it goes on as it just feels quite heavy and uncomfortable. On the other hand, however, and the reason for which I do keep using this liquid foundation, is that it covers all types of blemishes all the time. Another reason for which I continue to use it over any other foundation is that it stays on for the entire day and night. It does not fade, flake, or smudge off. I would even say that it is kiss-proof! I have tried other foundations and this is the one that I keep going back to because I can rely on it and trust to cover all my imperfections!

After my horrible experience with Almay Smart Shade foundation, I decided to go with the Revlon ColorStay instead and I love it. There IS hope for drugstore foundations! This has to be the best full coverage drugstore foundation I have ever tried. And I am excited to say that I was actually able to match my skin tone almost perfectly. Since I am anemic and have very pale skin it's pretty much impossible to be able to get drugstore foundation that matches my skin tone. I use the shade "Ivory" and it hides all my blemishes very well and it does not get cakey and disgusting like some foundations. And they have a wide variety of shades for the lightest and darkest of skin tones. There's something in this foundation for everyone. And for the price and quality I am going to replace my MAC foundation with this. Works just as well, and for half the price. Sorry MAC. :( I recommend this foundation to everyone!

What it is: Long lasting liquid foundation. This product also comes in a
    formula for Normal/Dry Skin.

Where to get it: drugstores or where ever Revlon cosmetics are sold.

How much: approx. $14 at CVS

What I like about it: really great coverage. I stayed oil free for
about 3-4 hours, but the coverage remained untouched.

What could be improved: gives off a really white cast in pictures. They
need to offer more shades with more undertone choices.

Overall: I really like this product. I avoid taking pictures w/it on
because it gives off that ghostface affect. But in person, you can't see
it so it's cool to wear for everyday use.

I really like this for when I need extra coverage. On those says when I'm lookin a little too rough I put it under my bare-minerals - yes this defeats the purpose of natural mineral make-up but sometimes I find it necessary. It stays on all day, more so than any other foundation I've used and it matches my skin really well. It doesn't give my skin a pinkish hue which I find is my biggest problem in finding foundation. I recommend this for those who stick to drugstore foundations.
