I purchased this product in "Backstage", which is a deep berry-red. I was hoping for a long lasting, non- drying formula. The color stick itself went on well but became more gaudy as the day went on because all that remained on my lips was a very bright outline, with the color on the inner part of my lips disappearing into a flaky mess.It accentuated the lines around my lips and bled into them. However, as far as the packaging itself, it was quite nice and very utilizing. The cap clicks as you roll it up so that you know that your lipstick is secure within its casing and the plastic is quite strong. Overall, great packaging, not so friendly product.

This product glides on smoothly and has a nice colour tone. It has a shimmering effect on the lips, and the colour is bright and eye catching!

This is kind of a weird product because it's not a bad lipstick, I actually quite like it but it's not what is advertised. From the name 'suede' and from the ads, I expected it to be a nice matte lipstick with lots of pigmentation, but I would actually say it's a semi matte lipstick. It's a bit more sheer than I expected, but it still has good colour, though, test them first on your hand because the colour on the package isn't exactly what you'll get on your lips. I bought this in Backstage, a dark, purple berry colour but on my lips it is a lot more red/magenta than I expected. Still, it's nice.

It's a lot more hydrating than I expected. And it has really long lasting colour. I had swatched some on my hand and they were not coming off, even at the end of the day. I really like how these settle and dry on your lips though. I have issues with lipsticks that never really settle, that just feel glossy and feel like they get everywhere. This one stays put! The price isn't bad, but I am not sure that I like this product enough to pay more than $10 for it.

I recently had the opportunity to try Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede lipstick in "BACKSTAGE" thanks to Revlon Select. I have to admit that I don't usually wear drug store lipsticks because I find the color bleeds really bad, they don't last and the color wears off quickly on the main part of my lips....however, this lipstick has been the first positive experience I've had with such a lipstick. I loved the feeling when it glided on, quite literally like the feeling of suede. The lipstick has an intensity to it with staying power to boot! I loved that although I used this lipstick without, yes I said WITHOUT a lip liner, it stayed right where I put it...in between the lines of my lips and on my lips! And it didn't even transfer to my newborn's sleeping head moments later when I kissed. This particular shade is the color I've always wished I could wear but felt it was too dark for me and yet some how I pulled this shade off. I would say this lipstick is as good, if not better than the $25 "high end" lipstick I last purchased. I will def being buying other colors of this lipstick! Thanks REvlon!
