I didn't find this creme shadow to work well with my skin. I found it creased a lot. The colors were great but because of all the creasing and smudging I would not repurchase.

This first caught my attention because of the metallic appearance of the colours (I have 'Wild Orchids'). I was looking for something with a bit more colour payoff than the Revlon 12h quads. I guess I missed the fact that it was *creme* eyeshadow, because I found it difficult to apply.

Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I've been using my fingers to apply it, and I find misplacements rather difficult to correct. Also, I found I was using more to cover than I expected. Still, if I apply it correctly, I get a lot of compliments on it. Not sure if I would buy again.

these aren't my favorite cream eyeshadows but i do like that they come in a palette. the maybelline color tattoo shadows are better quality and worth the price over these. the revlon ones do come in a larger variety of color than most other drugstore cream shadows though.

I received a compact of this as a gift and I ended up throwing it away. I initially assumed this being creme eyeshadow would mean that it would go on very bold and last longer than a powder-based color. Yeah, I was wrong. The colors were incredibly light, the makeup never actually dries, and most of it got stuck in a crease on my eyelids.

From then on, I decided to stick with powder eyeshadow, but if you're on the lookout for a good creme eyeshadow, I would say don't get this one. It's not godawful, but it's not wonderful either.

I'm not so impressed with these. I know cream eyeshadow has a tendency to crease, but I just felt that these were way too oily in texture so they creased really fast. Alsoo the colors are not as pigmented as I would have liked- I've had my Black Magic palette for about a month and two of the colors are almost gone- they just don't know up like I hoped they would, you really have to layer it on and then you get baddd creasing. There's better cream eye shadows out there, even at the drugstore price..

I bought this several months ago and have gotten a lot of use out of it. I have the Moonlit Jewels palette, which is quite nice with a light tan/earth tone shimmer, a navy blue shimmer, an emerald green shimmer and what looks like a wine colored shimmer in the palette but applies more like a medium brown shimmer. These are not frosty, they have more of a pearl finish which is very nice.

My main purpose in purchasing this palette was to use them as somewhat inexpensive eye shadow bases in multiple colors, which they work extremely well for. Powder shadows really stay put on top of these and I have had no problems at all with creasing, even in the summer. They are super creamy, apply evenly without patching on the skin, and work under pretty much any eye shadow color as they are pigmented, but not overly so. They don't compete with your powder shadow because they are not screaming colors and they don't have the god-forsaken glitter in them that so many products now do. But they work really well to enhance them with their smooth pearlescence.

A little goes a long way with these, thankfully, as there is not much of each color. The 4 of them total 3.4 grams. That would be .12 ounces. Approximately a tenth of an ounce?? Seriously, Revlon?? Pathetic amount of product, really. They have lasted me this long, though, so obviously it's not something you run out of overnight.

The case is great, especially when buying, as you can see the real color through the little plastic bubble windows on one side, and on the other side - a very nice surprise when I opened it - a high quality mirror which spans the entire length and width of the case. Love that.

Would I use them alone? Unlikely, and never have. I doubt they would stay put all day without powder shadow as they don't 'set' as many other cream shadows do, however, that is a good thing as it gives me more time to work putting my powders overtop and blending them out after applying the creams. I actually prefer these over my Makeup Forever cream shadows, believe it or not. Hopefully next time I'll be able to get them on sale as they are fairly pricey for a drug store product with so little product in the actual package. As much as I like these, I doubt I would pay full price for them again. Revlon should be selling these in packages like the MAC's Paint Pots come in, one color a pot. I would be willing to pay $10 for one in that case simply because I'd be getting a lot more product for the money.

What I like about cream shadows is the fact that they glide on smoothly and they are very easy to blend with. With cream eye shadow though, you tend to get creasing and flaking off as the day wears on. It is best to layer your cream shadow with a light, sheer powder shadow.

I really like this set of cream shadows, I have the set of orange, blue, light yellow and green but they also come in a whole bunch of bright popping colours, it was hard to choose just one. At 10 dollars for a set, they aren't expensive but they are more than other cream shadows from the drug store.

I think these shadows are just a ton of fun to experiment with. I love the light blue, I have only attempted to wear it more sheer but I might try and use it witha dark blue for something dramatic. Another great ting for the shadow is that I use the light yellow as a primer on my eyes to help set a powder shadow.

I love this cream eyeshadow. I purchased the the MoonLit Jeweles palette and loved it. It's very creamy, and works great as an eyeliner as well, which I like to put on my under lids. I don't usually use cream eyeshadows though, but this one was pretty good. The palette I got was purchased about 4 years ago, and I'm still using it to this very day. Definitely recommend!

I tried these eye shadows a lot when the palettes would be on sale, thinking wow I'd get 4 eye shadows for the price of one! And while I don't think it is a terrible product at all, It just wasn't for me. I have very oily skin and even with a primer or base the cream shadow would chunk up in the crease of my eyelid really badly. I looked awful with it. However, when I gave them to a friend with very dry skin they found it to be quite perfect. They didn't have the same problem as me at all, it glided on nice and silky. And the white, lighter colours work really well as a highlighter lightly on the brow bone or inner tear duct. Or If you're a young girl just starting off with make-up for the first time, applying lightly with subtle colours would be perfect.

I have bought quite a few of the Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadow because I like the creme shadows for playing with colours and mixing things, but also because they offer colour choices that compliment each other. As I said the colours blend well together if you like to play around with shading, and more smoky looks.

My issue with the product and maybe it's the same for all creme eyeshadows is after a few hours I find they clump a bit in the eyelid crease. Which I don't tend to see cause you can't see your eyes, but makes me a little self conscious to think people around me might notice these creases when I'm out and about.

All in all it's a product I would recommend if you are looking for a lower cost product that you want to use to sharpen your make up application skills and play around with a great colour spectrum! They go on easy and look great :)
