I fell in love with this mascara after trying many other kinds. It coats my lashes evenly without clumping, and it lengthens/darkens them so nicely as to make it look like my lashes are much longer and fuller than they really are.
I really like this mascara, but I don't like using the primer and mascara together, I feel like it defeats the definition and separation that the other one has given me. I like to use the mascara end alone, which gives me separation and volume with 3 coats. I like to use the primer with another volumizing mascara (traditional wand) over it to make my lashes look fuller.
This is the best mascara i have ever used, it makes my light short lashes long and dark !! I will never use another brand again !
i LOVE LOVE LOVE it !
the primer really helps to define your lashes; the mascara, too. it makes them long and voluminous without being too clumpy or too drying. there's no better way to explain than a picture, so i'll upload one of my lashes with this on [consider i've gone through an 8 hour school day]. (:
hope this helped x
My lashes are short so I really like mascaras with a primer. I actually liked this mascara. It gave me the length and the thickness that I needed.
I have the waterproof version of this. Personally, I don't use it everyday. It clumps a little but it makes my eyes look so wide! However, it doesn't always come off completely with makeup remover. I end up ripping out eyelashes the next morning in the shower (Ouch!). Plus, I noticed the primer end has little black bits of mascara on it.
Still love it, though.
If I had to sum this product up in one word it would be... "meh."
I bought this little science experiment on a recommendation from a friend, and have never let her live it down. I liked the idea of slapping on a coat of primer before my layer of mascara, thinking that it would give me beautiful big doll lashes that no one could resist. Not so much.....
To begin with, the primer coat smells like paint mixed with the paste you may have eaten back in grade school. It also looks like congealed paste when you paint it on. Then we wait for it to dry, and when that happens you get to paint the mascara on over top. There were several problems with this procedure. First of all time. I'm a busy girl and as I'm getting ready I am also watching the clock while trying to step into my jeans and flip flops. I don't have time to wait for paint to dry on my lashes before putting the mascara on. Second, the mascara seemed too thick to go over the paint/primer easily. I had to spend quite a bit of time working the brush around to cover all the freaky white lashes. Third problem was that it flakes something awful! After four hours I had eyelash dandruff under my eye. I don't know about you, but nothing I just described sounds like a Lash Fantasy to me. This one is going in the bin.
After trying many..many mascaras, I have to say, this is one of my favorite. I get so many compliments on my eyelashes when ever I wear this...I think my favorite has to be when I was having my eyebrows waxed, the lady could not believe my eyelashes were real. I do have one complaint...this mascara dries out and becomes crumbly a lot sooner than many of the other brands I have tried...resulting in pieces of mascara in your eye. You r really can't keep this mascara for more than say, two months
I am a mascara fiend, and when I decided to try this product from Revlon I was very impressed. First of all I LOVE mascaras that have primer, and of course Lash Fantasy does. Every time I wear this mascara people ask me if my lashes are real! It really extends them to great lengths.
