I love the colour! the perfect mint colour. I would say that it's streaky though, so you have to apply 2-3 coats. Either way i still love it though.
Love the Revlon line--esp the top speed polishes. They've really improved their selection lately, but I find it chips quite easily.
I'd been looking for some colored nail polish to switch things up a little as I usually wear black. I decided to try Revlon because I liked the variety of colors available. I bought 2 bottles, Punk a shimmery light green and Downtown a light shimmery blue. It cost me about 15$ for both. For me it's a splurge because it's kind of pricey for nail polish imo.
I was really satisfied, the color went on easily and I only needed 2 coats. it dried fairly quickly and doesn't chip as easy as other polish. I also thought the brush was a bit on the small side, but it still gets the job done. I don't know about the other finishes, but the shimmery finish ones are true to the bottle as far as color.
I really loved how much variety there was, a lot of matte, shimmer and glitter colors from vivid to pastel in both fun and serious colors. A definite thumbs up and worth the money.
I love the color they have available. The nail polish provides good coverage with 2 coats. I do not like the scented ones. After a top coat is applied you can barely smell it anyway. I have the ocean breeze and i find it smells obnoxious.
I wasn’t to sure about this Revlon Nail Color when I opened it and found out how small the brush was. It looked as though it was going to take forever to get the job done. Revlon claims that this polish is smooth and chip resistant. Once I started applying the polish with this small brush I found out my concerns about the brush making the job take longer were true. How ever it didn’t have that strong smell like some other polish’s can have. After a few coats I found that it did go on well, it just took a lot longer to do. I had to apply several coats to go good coverage, but it went on smooth. I’ve had this color on for about five days and haven’t gotten one chip; witch I thought was also pretty good. The Raven red color looks more like a burgundy then a red to me witch I like, but my husband thought was to dark. I don’t normally have the patience to take an hour on my nail’s, but because I found this polish to go on smoothly and last as long as it has, I will be buying more in different colors and I’d also recommend it to others.
Fast drying nail polish that doesn't chip easily. I found I have to apply sometimes 3 coats just to get the color I want which is a bit frustrating. The bottle color and what it looks like on your nails is not very true VS other nail polishes.
Everyone loves the usual colours of playing it safe but i love this colour so much. It works well whatever your skin tone and doesn't chip at all. Definitely worth the money
Revlon Nail Enamel - 795 Devilish $4.99 at Loblaws
The only thing I seem to be treating myself is nail polish. I love the shades of earth, dark brown, a little bit of tan, cream.
I found this nail enamel looking dark brown in the bottle, but it is red - duh- devilish is the color name, hence red.
Anyways, it does not come off easy, like the cheaper ones even if I wash dishes by hand.
To get the darker color of brown, apply 3 coatings. If you are looking for darkish brown effect, avoid this one. But if you are looking for a tinge of red, daredevil expression, this one is for you.
Good price for the quality, I'd say 3 coatings each time, I will run out of this one in no time.
But hey, I will buy it again, if I wanted to have a day of daredevil personality. One coat, and its redish dracula.
:)
I was really disappointed in this minty green cream finish nail polish, especially because I'd heard such good things. It looks beautiful in the bottle but application (for me) was terrible. It went on incredibly streaky and uneven; it took 3 coats to get it to look acceptable. After it had been drying for awhile (30 minutes) I noticed that there were little bumps/bubbles appearing all over my nails, covering every single nail. This is annoying and happens to me occasionally (though never with OPI Nailpolishes) but never on every nail!
The bubbles may have happened because I didn't let the polish dry enough between coats. It is cheap so if you really like the colour and think you can prevent the bubbles from happening (I heard putting nail polish in the fridge helps) I would try this out. For me though it was too streaky and I'm sure the bubbles would happen again because I did let it dry for a good ten minutes between coats. A very high maintenance nail polish - takes a long time and a lot of unnecessary work to make it look decent.
I LOVED this nail polish :) It dried quickly, it wasn't streaky, it has beautiful colors and it didn't chip after a few days.
My fav :)
