Revlon PhotoReady Foundation
The Revlon PhotoReady Foundation is an average foundation with a high price tag! Not my favorite and I do love Revlon. I prefer the colorstay foundation. This foundation is not full coverage, it is more of a natural coverage which may work perfect for someone else. I personally like a foundation to be full AND long lasting coverage, especially if I am paying over $10.00.
This foundation offers good coverage and I like that it has a pump. My issue with this foundation and the reason I will not repurchase is because there is shimmer/glitter within it. At first I didn't notice but then I realized after I put it on and looked at it in the sun, my face was COVERED in glitter. Looked super cheap and is not flattering at all.
This was not a winner in my books. I was so excited to get it because I had been using the revlon colorstay for years. Upon use it was water and did not blend right. It did nothing to hide any imperfections and left my face greasy looking and shiny. It rubs off easily on clothes, boyfriend etcetera. I am sure someone with super dry skin and no flaws may benefit from this product, or someone who is not active. The sweat alone makes it come off and when it gets in your eyes it burns. I was very surprised because I had heard so many rave reviews on this product. It is definitely not for me.
The Revlon photo ready line seem to always have shimmers within the the products. This foundation is not ideal if you have some imperfection your face, some of my scars still appear noticeable with some coverage. The shimmer make the face look very wide if you don't contour face. Now I use only for highlight in certain area of face.
I was a bit disappointed by this foundation. I had high expectations since there were a lot of commercials about it, but i did not find it impressing at all. It has a medium coverage and the texture is a bit liquid. There are a lot of choices of colors, which is a positive point though.
Okay, so this isn't my favorite foundation, but it still works well.
The coverage is great, but if you have dry skin like me, I find this foundation just clings to them like crazy. Didn't make me break out or anything though! So that's a plus.
I have yet to try Revlon Colorstay, I've heard such great things about it. I will probably try that one next.
This foundation did not work very well for me. I have dry skin and felt that did this nothing for it, it seemed to make it more noticable. The foundation itself is rather thin and it has quite a but of sparkle in it which i did not like at all. The colour selection could also be better. This is not my favorite I would probably not buy it again unless they change the formulation of it.
The coverage is really good, almost comparable to mac studio fix. and for the price you cant go wrong
a very heavy coverage foundation. would only use for big events not an everyday product at all had to buy two tones to match my complexion but its great for a wedding or prom (night of dancing)
Im super pale so it didnt end up being my correct shade when I used this but apart from that the coverage was really really great, it lasted a really long time and it covered all my blemishes. One thing I hated about it was the SPF and also the sparkly bits. In the right light, you look like an orange Edward Cullen.
