Was over charged 500$ and burnt my hair and ugly Haircut

The salon owner and worker (johnny and Danny) burnt my hair, charged me 500$ and gave me a very ugly haircut. I could not go in public for weeks and my head was in pain because it was burnt. Worst experience ever. They did not give me what I asked for. they kept going on smoke breaks.

I always get my hair done by Danny and he is the greatest! He'll never do anything to my hair that he thinks won't look great and I love my haircut everytime! Everyone that works there is friendly and I always have the best time! I'm always telling my friends to go there and they all love it too!

I had my hair done by this stylist name Danny. Was the worse haircut I've ever had. He was very bossy to the other workers and seem like He was so into himself instead of listening to the clients needs and wants. The next day I had to go to another salon to fix what Danny had done. I would never recommend this guy to any of my friends. If u want a bad hair job than go there and you'll definitely get one .

The best of the best. I've been coming here for about three years. Danny the owner, is the BEST! He does an amazing job and completely understands what I want from cut to color. All of the staff are super friendly! and incredibly accommodating!!

Loved my time at Riccioli Hair Salon Rideau. The staff were friendly and stylish and they even offered me a cappuccino while waiting for my highlights to process. I loved my cut and would reccomend this place to you for sure!!!

i recently visited this salon and was very disappointed in the service. when i first arrived, the staff was not friendly. my stylist who happens to be the owner of the salon, was very quiet and unfriendly, lack of enthusiasm. he did not discuss the hair cut with me, he did what he wanted and in the end i did not even like the cut. another thing, he smelled very bad, like stale cigarettes. it was not pleasant.overall i would never advise my worst enemy to go to this salon. bad service, smelly owner, and too pricy for nothing. save your money ppl!!

I have been going to this salon for approximately five years. All I can say is that it is GREAT. Everytime I leave that place, I always feel great. Tanya is by far the best stylist. After meeting you once, she knows exactly what you want, she remembers details about your life, and she knows which colour(s) to put in your hair so you look good. She understands everyone very well.....you explain what you want and she does it exactly as you want it... Good job Tanya. You are THE BEST!

After this experience I will never return again.

I had been dying to get my hair cut for a long time, I scheduled an appointment. The hairstylist Danny was a loaf, No smiles, no laughter, and Bad attitude. What a way to make new clients feel welcome! So he didn't talk to me much, which was awkward. I had to tell him all the things about my hair (he didn't ask), I HATE my hair cut. I just wanted a trim to get rid of the dead ends and to get rid of the bottom layers that I don't like. Well, I ended up with lots and lots and LOTS of layers, and maybe half inch cut off the bottom (if that) because all the dead ends are still there! Now it’s going to take forever for the layers to grow back, TERRRRRIBLE with all those extra, unwanted layers. The hair was also styled with a terrible blow out that looked like I came from the 80, never coming here again, obviously!

I first tried this place when I got a certificate for discounted services. I was a little nervous that the stylist might discount the effort she put into my hair but this wasn't the case at all, I had great luck and have been going there ever since.
Nadia is my favourite stylist and she is an expert colourist, she gave me a really unique foil to get rid of some highlights I had, and it was my favourite hairstyle I ever had. Of all the salons I've visited in Ottawa, this was the best because they took their time to do a good job and paid attention to details instead of rushing you out. The price is as expensive as anywhere else in Ottawa, but you get what you paid for.
