Wouldn't use anything else!
This is my go to, best mousse I have used on my skin! It goes on smoothly and it lasts hours without needing to be topped up, it doesn't cake or flake, it just stays and makes my skin look flawless.
It goes on so smooth, and you don't need a lot. The saying "a lot goes a long way" stays true for this product. Absolutely love it! Will be buying in bulk.
Easy to apply and fair price. Doesn't stay for full 16 hours its closer to about 12 or 13
Works great after about 8hours you do need to re-apply though. Goes on smooth easy to apply. Pricy for what it is.
I am not pleased with this foundation. Definitely not a 16 hours wear. It left dry patches on my skin and made me look cakey.
The Rimmel Cool Matte Mousse 16Hr foundation is one of my favorite that I've ever tried! It comes in a pot and it has a mousse consistency, so it feels very light on your skin. You hardly feel as though you're wearing foundation. It gives my skin a soft matte finish which looks very natural, however, if you were looking for a foundation that leaves a dewy finish, this is not for you. This foundation would probably suit oily skin best, but I have normal to combination skin and it still works well for me. The coverage is great and it leaves my skin looking flawless. It did not look cakey throughout the day and it is long lasting, just as they advertise. It actually does feel cool on your skin when you first apply it. So far, it has not caused any breakouts. I've found that a stippling brush is the best way to apply this foundation. You just tap and swirl it on your skin and it blends easily. The foundation comes in a pot which makes it easy for the stippling brush to pick up product. Excellent product! Worth trying and a definite repurchase for me!
This gives me the coverage I need without having to worry about it lasting. Love this foundation!
I am new to using foundation; I use to only wear tinted moisturizers. When I was recently at the drug-store I saw a two-for-one deal on Rimmel products, so I decided to go for it.
I applied it with a sponge and found it to be a very cool-feeling foundation. It went on very smoothly, still looked natural, and didn't feel heavy (I was surprised because it was called matte, but I didn't find it to be a "scary" matte product where I looked like a doll). The product has not broken out my skin, and really lasts all day (although I do set it with a really cheap e.l.f. powder).
The BEST thing about this product is that the first day I wore it I went to the MAC counter in my mall and the make-up artist stopped me to ask what I was wearing on my skin because I had a perfect complexion (even though I had a few flare-ups)!!! That was exactly what I was going for, and now I'm hooked.
The price, the wear, the fact that it doesn't break me out (I have sensitive combo-skin), the cool British vibe, the high-quality glass packaging, and the compliments...I'm in LOVE.
I was afraid of the matte finish, but I really don't notice it being too heavy, it still looks very natural, even after I set it with powder.
My skin is horrid, in some places its dry or oily and others its got patches. its an absolute nightmare to go out with my skin, cuz its so patchy. the foundations i get are either making me look like a ghost or dont give any coverage at all.
this all changed when my mate told me about Rimmel's new foundation. So i thought, psht, Rimmel? the expensive brand? fuggedaboutit. but there was a sale at my local drugstore, and this foundation was on sale, for like half off. So i thought, lets give it a shot.
i tried it on, and it literally photoshopped my flaws away (there are still some visible) but this is foundation, not plastic surgery. so i finished it off with poweder, and it lasted the whole day! best thing ever: i didnt feel like i had a pound of goop on my face- it was that light!!
overall i would recommend this product, but the price is a little too over for me, but then again, all foundations that work are pricey. its a really good foundation thats light and covering.
oveall i would buy this!
