I just tried Rimmel Glam'eyes quad eyeshadow in Smokey Brun. It's an average eyeshadow, nothing spectacular. It's sheer and the pigmentation is light, so you have to apply a generous amount to get results. Smokey Brun provides great neutral colors, perfect for a natural look. I lasted long enough (a work day). For 8$, it's a great add to my make-up bag.
I have the State Of Grace' 021 quad and I love it. I don't usually use the colors together, but I love them all. The colors are vibrant and stay on long.
I used 004 Green Park.
Rimmel Glam Eyes HD is very compact, on the plus side its packaging includes an illustration with labels and how-to-apply. I'm not a fan of the palette design or the thick foam-brush/applicator as it makes it difficult to swipe the colours separately. I also find that it limits the selection to using only the largest central shade. Nonetheless, the eye shadow itself has a soft velvet feel, the colour scheme is well-suited together and blends quite nicely; however, its not pigmented. The colours go on sheer and require layering, and does smudge very easily. Overall Rimmel Eye Glam HD is great for travel and if you're trying to add a dash of colour to your look, this product provides that.
the quality of these shadows is nice; they're smooth but not chalky, and u def can't beat them for the price. i have the quad in 3 shades, and will be repurchasing more. really like them, i'm impressed with rimmel.
All my friends love the colors and the over all look of the 001 Smokey Noir palette. It really is very pretty and for getting it in a drugstore it works well!
I bought the glam'eyes in smokey brun (002) for prom. I was doing a pin up look and it worked very well with the red lipstick I wore. I like the shadow so much that I have been wearing it daily lately, a big surprise considering I was not sure if I would use it again. The eyeshadow stays on well, blends great and the packaging is very nice. I will be buying this again.
I got the Glam'Eyes Quad Eye Shadow in Dark Signature, because I'm always drawn to purple shades. I've seen people blend purple shades really nicely, and was worried that I'd have to find some online tutorials to figure out how to do it, but to my suprise, There was a step-by-step guide on the back of the case! Each shade was layered, with a diagram showing how where on your lid to put it. I loved how the ending look turned out, but I did feel like the darkest shade was not dark enough, so I blended it with some black eyeshadow. It's a really convenient way to carry a look in one compact case...I'm considering getting the Glam'Eyes Quad in some more colours.
