I purchased the black and brown liner because they were on clearance. I have used gel liners before, and was very happy with this brand as well. I like that the brush is attached to the gel, it makes it much easier to find in my makeup bag.
The Rimmel liner goes on so smooth and perfect everytime. It has a brush right in the lid that is easy to clean and use whenever you need. This liner lasts a full 24 hours through work and sleep( had to test that out) it's amazing! Whether you want a dramatic cat eye or a classic thin line this is the liner and brush for you! In love and will never use anything else ever again.
Rimmel London scandal eyes waterproof gel eyeliner
I wear blackest black and find that this product is great to pop in my mini make up bag for the day, it comes in a small pot with a brush applicator in a tube on top. This product is rather easy to use whether you want a thick line or thin line of eyeliner, I find it last the day sometimes I may have to touch up towards the inner area of my eye.The gel colour is perfect and isn't to thick or watery like some can be, and I love the applicator for doing flicks with as it apples ever so easily and you can get a perfect flick every time.
However for those who aren't used to the product it's self may find it slightly more difficult to use at first to get the right amount and how it is comfortable for them to hold it but apart from that I find a very good product.
I received my Rimmel London ScandalEyes Waterproof Gel Eyeliner for free from the chick’s here at ChickAdvisor as part of my prize for winning a review of the week. I was very excited to give this eyeliner a try because I hadn’t tried a gel liner before even though I had always wanted to. When it would come time to buy a new liner I always seemed to chicken out because I just wasn’t sure if I’d care for the gel liners, or if I’d be able to get the look that I wanted from them. This eyeliner has a little brush that is hidden inside part of the handle. After you open the top you then can attach the brush to the other end and then just dip it into the gel and start. This integrated brush applicator allows you to build thin or thick lines. I’ve never seen a liner like this, but I also haven’t tried many liners so it may not be anything new to most of you. It’s available in three shades, Black, Aubergine, and Deep Blue and sells for around $7.47 at Wal-Mart. Unfortunately this gel liner just wasn’t for me. It went on easily enough, but it just wouldn’t dry fast enough for me. I have hooded eye’s and because this liner took what seemed like forever to dry it sure wouldn’t stay where I put it. After lining the top of my lashes on one eye I moved to the next, but by the time I was done the other eye the liner on the first eye wasn’t where I had left it. It had bled all over the tops of my eyelids and it even bled below the bottom of my lashes making me look like I had been punched in the eye. The more I tried to fix this the worse things got for me. After having to clean my whole face and start over again I though I’d give it another try the next day. Well the same thing happened no matter how long I tried to let the first eye dry for before moving on to the next. From my experience with the Rimmel London Scandleye’s Waterproof Gel Eyeliner I would tell you to definitely stay away from it if you have hooded eye like I have. You’ll just end up with a big mess like I had and won’t be too happy about spending your money on something you can’t use. How ever if you don’t have hooded eyes and don’t mind waiting awhile for your liner to dry, then I’d tell you to give it a try.
Smooth, clean, glide-on application. Doesn't smudge unless you rub against it. Long-lasting and waterproof as claimed on the package. You can create thin or thick lines with the brush applicator depending on pressure and angle. The bottle design is a clever idea. What I do love about this product is the formula - it's not runny like the NYC liquid eyeliner and I still achieve the same bold look with a soft edge effect. This is my first time using a gel liner and I will definitely be purchasing again!
So i was looking for a nice liquid liner i saw the ad on tv and decdid to check it out. I bought it from Walmart for $7.98.
After trying it out i wasn't happy with it at all. It doesn't dry up remains creamy and sticks on the upper eye lids after a while. Would never recommend it. It says its waterproof who cares about that if it doesn't dry up its still going to make eyes gothic after a while. My suggestion DON'T Ever buy this.
