I bought this the other week as it was on sale at my local cosmetics counter. The packaging was pretty, purple and sleek looking, and the price was right. I sort of wish now that I'd saved my money.

It's a fairly runny formula, that takes forever to dry. I've ruined my makeup trying to put it on after completing my look, and I've tried to apply it before I start my face, either way it's a pain in the buttocks. I don't have super curly eyelashes to begin with, so I curl before applying any mascara, but this formula actually weighed it down, and took away any "curl" I may have previously had.

Furthermore, you can't build with this mascara - as you keep building, your eyelashes start looking spidery and clumpy. Not hot at all! I'd advise trying another product if you're looking for something that will really curl your lashes and finish off your look. :)

I was disappointed with this mascara. I was looking for Big Bold look and was not to happy with the results. I found that it still left flakes after I had washed it off.

This mascara was just "Ok" in my books. I really like a very noticablle, long, dark,, dramatic look to my lashes. This mascara was very inexpencive, which was a major bonus as I hate spending a fortune on myself for something so small. The black was a nice dark colour, it went on smooth and easy, but as it dried I did notice a small amount of flakes as the day went on. Several coats later and I was ready to run to the grocery store, but it isn't the product you're looking for if you're glamming it up for a night out. If you're after a more natural, suttle look then this is a product for you! If you're after bold and glamerous, you may want to consider looking else where.

I just realized that this is the first mascara review I've ever done so bare with me lol. I noticed that mascara hasn't been on the top of my shopping list lately. One of my favorite mascara's is the classic Maybelline Great Lash Mascara (you know, the one in the pink bottle). I've bought a ton of these and I have it in royal blue too. I've always been pleased with the results but that doesn't mean I haven't tried other ones too. I feel like its difficult to find a really good mascara that you like, for me anyway.I was at CVS the other day and noticed that they had this mascara and I remember seeing it either on a YouTube video or a blog, then I remembered why, it was the brush.
I've never seen a mascara brush shaped this way, they refer to it as a "supersized triple plump brush". It promises to give you fuller, thicker, stronger lashes for full figure volume with no clumping! I have yet to find a mascara that doesn't clump at all. But will see...

My lashes do need more volume and some length. I feel like my lashes used to be much longer, its probably all the lashes that have fell out from curling them. Is that really true or just a myth? lol I forgot.


I used this mascara twice so far and the first time I wasn't too impressed at all. I didn't feel like it gave me much volume at all and seemed to be a little thick and clumpy when applying it. The next day I wanted to give it another try and this time my opinion is different. I actually liked it a lot more this time. The first time I used it, I was in a bit of a rush (so that doesn't help) and I also applied 2 coats because that's what I'm used to. I didn't need 2 coats with this mascara at all, and that's probably why there was a few clumps. The picture below is from the first time I used it and applied 2 coats. The picture below that is the second day with only one coat. I think the second picture is an improvement.

Overall, its not horrible but its not terrific either. I wasn't expecting this crazy amount of extra volume they promised but I don't feel like there was too much extra volume at all. .It did give me a little length but unfortunately I cant say this mascara has anything that stands out to me. It's probably on the same level as my Maybelline's Great Lash (actually I like the great lash better).

One thing I did like about this mascara is how the color was a dark black with only 1 coat. Sometimes with other mascaras even if the color is Blackest Black, it doesn't show up that dark unless you apply 2 or 3 coats. I really like the packaging and how the bottle is this bright gorgeous red. The handle is also pretty comfortable and I still like the shape of the brush, I think the concept of it is good but if they made the brush bigger than I probably would have gotten more volume.

I wouldn't re purchase this product because of the reasons mentioned above. It's okay though, like I said before it's hard for me to find a mascara that I would buy again. I think I should start looking at some high end brands.

I got a free pr sample and was excited to try it out as I haven't tried their products recently, but this mascara is not for me. I found there was very little difference between wearing this and nothing at all. Very little for length and volume and my eyelashes felt dry and brittle though thankfully, they didn't flake. I have medium length and thickness to my eyelashes naturally so I thought this would work well.

This one's a no for me.

Ehh, this is probably the worst mascara I've tried. I didn't want to write a bad review, as I really wanted to like this product, but it really wasn't a good mascara. I used the turquoise tube waterproof version, not the purple original one, so there may be differences in the product, but I wasn't impressed with this one. I have short straight lashes, so I always need to curl them. After curling my eyelashes and applying the mascara...and only 1 coat, the curl in my lashes automatically went away. After 2 coats, there was a little lengthening and some volume...but overall, I wasn't impressed as the curl automatically disappeared, and the mascara IS called "sexy CURVES full volume and CURVE". However, I got this mascara on sale for $2.5 I believe, so I guess it was worth the try for a mascara. This might work better on someone who has naturally curly and longer lashes. On the positive note, the formulation was quite black and it did add some volume to my lashes.

I received this product from Rimmel. Despite the fact that it comes in an electric purple tube, this mascara didn't do the trick for me. My problem with it is that it doesn't do what it says: volumize (it's in the product name). Even though it does live up to the second half of its promise (curving), you'll know from my past mascara reviews that volume is the prime factor for me, and this one does not give my lashes enough of it.

Bought it and not only does it dry out right away but the brush end actually broke off after 3 uses. I too noticed the mascara does not smell nice plus it really did not do much for my eyelashes. Not worth the cost

I liked this mascara a little. The brush was a little hard to get used to at first and i prodded myself in the eye! Ouch, all those little teeth rammed into my eye. Anyway, the product was not bad. To make my lashes look anything near longer you had to apply multiple coats, and by then you would have spiders clinging to your eyelids. I would recommend this to someone who has long lashes and want to add volume rather than length. Over all, not good.
