My Ride or Die Setting Powder

This is the only loose powder I thoroughly enjoy. It works well to set makeup; especially under the eyes. I also find it does work well for baking. The amount of product you get or the price is good, too - it’s readily available at most chain drugstores and retailers, and you can also find it on sale a lot of times (bringing the value to an even better price point).

I’ve used this setting powder since I really started getting into makeup about 9 years ago. In that time I’ve tried the Too Faced Peach Perfect setting powder, the Becca Hydra-Mist, and even the Makeupforever HD one. This is the only one I found that didn’t give me white cast, make me look jaundice, or cause my skin to break out.

My go to powder

I used to get oily in my tzone through out the day and I find that this is the only setting powder that helps combat that. Keeps the oils at bay during the day and my face is mattified till when I take my make up off at the end of the night!

One of my fav drugstore powders!

This is one of my go-to setting powders that I keep in rotation. It blends easily and keeps me matte throughout the majority of the day. It’s definitely transparent as it does not interfere with the colour of my foundation. It has no noticeable smell which is a feature I prefer in face products. The only thing I don’t like about this is that the product itself is very small so I find I go through one so fast, thus needing to stock up/repurchase often.

I really like this loose setting powder it gives a long lasting matte finish tranclucent is a great shade for all skin tones as well as a makeup artist I think this is fantastic

I cannot rave enough about how much I love this product! It is a perfect translucent setting powder that adds that finishing touch to any makeup style of your choosing. The cost is amazing and after a quick brush off of the excess powder on your face? You're ready to face the day! This powder is better than Laura Mercier and you save at least $20!

Love this powder

I like this Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder. I have combination to oily skin but more so oily skin and once applied it gives me a matte finish which I like a lot. It’s really easy to apply and it’s a great product to use throughout the day to control your oils. I use the pressed powder a couple times in a day when my oils start to appear. I wish the powder was long lasting but overall good product.

Great affordable option!

This is a fantastic loose powder to set foundation with! I purchased it to go with my liquid foundation that I only use on special occasions. I really love how soft and smooth it is. It is not cakey whatsoever, very light. The colour is 001 (transparent) but looks more like a very light nude. I am very fair so it matches well, I'm not sure how it would be on darker skin tones. I did not see what it looked like with a flash, but it looked great in sun and artificial lighting and did not go shiny.
