Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder is a very affordable powder found at most common drugstores. It is quite light so you don't feel caked on. I find the coverage to be light to medium but perhaps I have been using the Translucent shade. The packaging is not so good though as it comes with a cheap plastic cover that is nit very secure. It also does not come with a puff nor a mirror so you have to soppy your own ... which makes it inconvenient for travel. But for a few bucks it's OK to use at home or if you only need to go out for a couple of hours and don't plan on having to do any touch ups while on the go.
for a drugstore makeup product it works pretty well in keeping your foundation locked in for a long period of time. When i applied it it doesn't leave a cake finish and i didn't get shine throughout the day
I found this one at Wal-Mart, and it worked decently well for the colour and came in a pale enough shade to use. My main qualm with this one id that the case is not travelproof at all.
This powder is very effective given the price. It applies smoothly and lasts several hours. I do find I usually need to reapply midday. This powder can also clump up on dry patches if your skin is very dry.
I absolutely love this pressed powder. I apply this to my face after I apply my undereye concealer and it makes it look less cakey and stays on all day. I like that it reduces the shine on my face since I can get very oily in my t-zone. In addition, it is very affordable and I only use a little so I know that this will last quite awhile.
This powder is pretty good for my oily skin. It keeps it looking matte for most of the day. The shine starts showing through near the end of my work day but I do work in fast food so mt skin does get greasy pretty fast.
I have major love for this product! It sets foundation perfectly and it has great coverage on the days when I just don't want to wear foundation. I have combination skin, this product helps even it out without looking cakey and it goes on like silk. I highly recommend it.
All around this is good powder to set your concealer or foundation with. I've been using it a few years and always come back to it. Keeps me matte, helps highlight, doesn't break me out.
best drugstore powder I've ever used. it's very matte and nice and finely milled. you can't beat the price either.
I got this when the store didn't have the shade I wanted in my regular powder, and I was pleasantly surprised. While I still prefer my regular CoverGirl pressed powder, this was a good substitution and did almost the same thing. The negative aspect of this was that it definitely looked like I had powder on; it didn't blend as well with my other face makeup. It took me a while to figure out how much to actually use without looking like I smacked myself with a giant face puff of powder. I still prefer CoverGirl pressed powder because they offer an oil control and a sensitive skin option, but this works well if you're in a pinch or are looking for a heavier powder look.
