My go to foundation

This works perfectly with my combination skin, leaving me with a fresh looking complexion and does not cause my skin to break out like many other foundations.

Does it do a better job than coffee?

To wake me up in the mornings I usually go for a nice cup of coffee. When I heard about the Rimmel London Wake Me Up Foundation I was intrigued. I love the formula of this foundation. It is buildable and has a nice consistency. The foundation is great but a few adjustments could make it nicer. The foundation, in my experience, lasts around 5 hours before it wears off without setting spray. I have to apply it at least 3 times for a full-coverage effect. The radiance pearls look great on camera and in person but they end up staying on the skin after the foundation fades away.

Lovely Scent

I love most Rimmel Foundations and this one makes your skin look super awake. The product looks sparkly in the bottle but it doesn't look at all glittery on your face. It just gives your skin a healthy glow. It has a really delicious citrusy scent that helps perk you up in your morning routine. The only downside is that the shade range runs a little dark. I'm usually about the 3rd shade in most other Rimmel ranges and in this I am shade 1 and it's still a bit dark for me in the winter months.

The foundations creamy and has a real nice touch to it. I feel like the foundation also works as a concealer very well. It also works as a moisturizer which is excellent for my dry skin.

I recently picked up this product as it is highly recommended by the Youtube beauty queen Zoella. I was on the hunt for a foundation that would give me a great flawless complexion without feeling to heavy on the skin. As i have more high end products for special occasions and filming, I needed an everyday foundation for out and about. I have worn this product for about two weeks and love it so far! I have put this product to the test by wearing it to work (which for me is a high activity 12 hour day) and it holds up so well! The coverage stays up to 12 hours in which time it begins to fade, but hey! In twelve hours you'll want to be in your pj's, not your foundation.

My only disappointment with this product is the quality of the formula intended to give you a beautiful "glow". As it absolutely does! But after a few hours of wear and the formula begins to change on your skin, you can begin to notice the pieces of shimmer on your face and hands. I would have preferred a finer ingredient for this part of the product.

This foundation is great for just a hint of shimmer first thing in the morning. I always have a bottle of this on hand.

I wish these were more neutral yellow toned because it kind of looks pink on me, but regardless I am in love! I like the concealer from the wake me up line as well.

Good medium coverage foundation, can build up for more coverage. It gives a nice radiant glowy finish. I have oily skin so I usually dust a light layer of powder over this. This lasts for a few hours, but I do need to blot my face throughout the day. I love this drug store foundation- worth the price. My everyday foundation, not to heavy or cakey ( I use 1-2 pumps).

This is a great drug store foundation. It is a good light to medium coverage, while not being heavy. It lasts well, especially when set with a powder or finishing spray. It isn't drying or oily, it's a perfect medium. Don't be fooled by the tiny sparkles, you don't see them on your face - it just looks like your skin is glowing slightly. I have acne-prone skin, and this doesn't break me out. It has good coverage for acne and hyper pigmentation, just use a little concealer as well. I use the wake me up concealer with it and I love the two of them together.
Also, it comes off easily when removing your makeup.
I will definitely buy this again, especially because of the great price. I recommend using the testers to figure out what shade you are - they usually have them at Shoppers and Walmart.

I love this product! I normally don't wear foundation but this isn't heavy and takes care of so many problems like puffy dark eyes, uneven skin etc. It has a little shimmer but it doesn't look like you have been hit with sparkles just glowy and fresh.
