I bought a ring sling after tring it out from another mom. It helps especially for a newborn. My baby was cranky and wanted to be close to someone. Without it she was crying constantly. It was easy to use, handy as it fits into a diaper bag and not bulky. Convenient- as you could breastfeed while baby is in the sling.

I have tried many..about 5 different carriers for my first son. It wasn't until my second I found out about it.
