It's just another can of tuna, but $$$
I’ve never tried the Rio Mare brand before but have always been curious to compare it to similar canned tuna products. To be honest I’m not a huge fan of canned seafood and prefer it fresh, although my Italian friends swear by this and say that these products are much more refined and better quality vs typical canned tuna. Overall I did not find anything particularly special about this product and was not a fan of the olive oil to be honest. If I am consuming canned tuna I do prefer it to be in water. I’m not sure why others enjoy it so much, but try it on your own and see for yourself!
A true meal-making multitasker
Delicious tuna in a rich but refreshing oil is about as good as it gets for a quick, low carb option- whether whether eaten alone, mixed into a cold salad or hot pasta, you simply can’t go wrong
Family tradition
I grew up with a mediterranian mother, we always had this at home and I can't picture myself not having a cabinet full of these!! It's very delicious , nutritious and easy to use. Most of the time I have it with bread but the best way to use it is in a niçoise salad. I love this tuna ...now my mouth is watering
Best Tuna
this is my favourite tuna. I love the taste and texture. it has a delicate and sophisticated taste. I love that is is kept in olive oil. It has a distinct taste. i only buy rio mare.
So Disappointed
I picked up a 4 can package at Costco based on the tv commercials. I was expecting nice solid tuna, instead I got a can of mush. Fishy, oily mush. This can only be used for sandwiches that you mash anyway. So disappointed and will not buy again.
Excellent Tuna
This is a very excellent tuna. The quality is much higher than others. The tuna is delicate but firm and has a mild sweetness to it. Whether you add mayo or eat this plain as is it is delicious! Wonderful on a salad plate . I love this as a pick me up on the go. Don't miss out Try this Tuna you will love it!
