I used a recipe for the pantone colors and love it. Pantone colors are the in season colors in general for paints and such but you don't have to follow the trend, rit has a massive list of colors you can dye your clothing and more. It works so well with light colors. If you are unsure and want to dye a fabric piece or clothing or something else than you message the company they will help you and answer your questions, I did this and followed the instructions and worked quite well for myself.
