I had the small one and I used it for everything from stews, pork chops, pulled pork or beef. But it finally bit the dust and went to appliance heaven so now I am ready to buy another but larger. They are great if your on the go put everything in before you leave for work and a yummy hot meal when you get home. You can't go wrong with this product.

It holds so much food. It has a timer can turn itself on or off so you can leave it come jome after a day at work dinner is done... then once cooled down put the lid on put left overs right to fridge also easy to clean

I have had this old stand by for quite a few years and it still never lets me down. I love making my stews, soups, etc in it. I love the fact that I can put in all the ingredients and just leave it till it's done.
