Riversol 15 day sample kit

Amazing product.Tried the sample kit for first time. I was very happy with the results. I ended up ordering full sized bottles . It helped with a lot of skin issues. Would definitely recommend this product to a friend.

A bit pricey but good

I got to do a 15 day trial of Riversol for free. The kit included Gel Cleanser, Anti-Aging Reparative Serum, Daily Moisturizing Cream and 1 application of Glycolic Peel. The cost on their website for the full size kit is $139.00 + $44.00 for the Peel. The claim is that the regimen will reduce the look of wrinkles and fine lines, helps with dark spots, sun damage and uneven skin tone. In the 1st week you use the cleanser and the moisturizer once per day. In week 2 You continue as in week 1 but add in the use of the serum every other day after cleansing. In week 3 you continue once per day cleanse, and moisturize but now also use the serum daily. At 5 weeks you move to using all 3 products 2x a day. If you are also using the Glycolic Peel you add that in at 2x a week after week 3. The peel wasn't what I expected as it was a cream based peel that you leave on for 20 minutes and then wipe off with a soft cloth. I started the review by taking photos daily after my routine but the photos won't be posted as it did the product no justice. I ended up having massive breakouts while using this product. That said I did find my skin to be softer and smoother. I have some scarring etc from acne in the past and I definitely noticed that those discoloured areas were far less noticeable. I don't feel old by any stretch but have started to notice some lines developing and with how smooth my skin was they also were barely there. The trial itself also found me with way more cream and serum than was needed by not enough cleanser. So in fairness I was only able to use the cleanser for about half the time. I was sparse with the cleanser as well, it says to use about a dime's worth and I used half that and still ran out. I also found that the skin care routine in full takes a fair amount of time if your busy. I would have loved a scented product but thats me. This product is scent free. This product is made for sensitive skin and is hypoallergenic. Riversol offers a range of products on their website so check it out. It's a little more than I love spending on a skin care routine and due to the acne breakout for me I likely won't purchase this exact trio for myself, I do recommend contacting and getting the 15 day trial to see how it works for you.

Absolutely favorite

This is now in my Daily routine skincare. These have very light still moisturizinf effect on your skin. They customize it according to your skin type and works wonders. i had small bumps all over face , now it seem to have alot less from what i had in the past

Amazingly wonderful for your skin

I've ordered the sample packs because unfortunately their products are pretty expensive, but the sample kit will make you want to pay any amount of money to have their products. I used this for the amount of time they recommended and o.m.g. I SO wish I took a before and after on my face but guess what? I managed to get ahold of another sample pack and I'm definitely not going to miss out on this picture opportunity. My acne cleared up, my redness cleared up and my skin was SUPER smooth and baby bottom soft. I soooo wish I could afford their line bc I would be using their products every.single.day !! 10 out of 10, Highly recommend !

Great Product to invest for your skin

It is a complete system with full directions on how to start with basic skin care. They start you slow with cleanser and moisturizer and then eventually introduce serums and peels. After using it for 15 days, I do see a little difference in my skin and would look at getting it for my daily skincare use.

I ordered the sample kit for combination skin but got it for sensitive skin so I reached out to customer service and this is the response that I got :

This meant that he developed the products to be kind to our skin, but remaining equally usable if your skin doesn’t experience sensitivity.

Although each product will have 'Dermatologist Developed for Sensitive Skin' printed on the packaging, the type of product you receive is dictated by your skin type, whether it's Oily, Combination, Normal to Dry or Very Dry.

Here’s the main differences between our products for each skin type:

Oily Skin: Refreshing Gel Cleanser, Serum (Anti-Aging or Anti-Redness), Lightweight Moisturizing Lotion

Combination Skin: Refreshing Gel Cleanser, Serum (Anti-Aging or Anti-Redness), Daily Moisturizing Cream

15 day sample kit

Got to try this 15 day sample kit of cleanser, serum, and moisturizer. It's dermatologist developed for sensitive skin. I was quite happy with my skin after using this product. Skin complexion started to become more bright and soft. Scarring left from pimples became diminished. Skin started to feel soft and a bit firm after using it for a period of two weeks now. The trial package comes in with clear instructions on how to be used. First few days just use the cleanser and moisturizer, on day sixth introduce the serum with cleanser and moisturizer then on day eleventh start the glycolic peel as well. Over all was a good experience using this 15 day trail sample kit.

Great product!

Riversol is a great product. I have extremely sensitive skin and I had zero issues with this product. I used the daily package and it was wonderful. I also appreciate that it is from Vancouver, Canada.

Save your $!

I received the Riversol 15 day sample kit for sensitive skin and I had high hopes after reading the reviews and 'claims' from the company. I'm giving it 1/5 stars as the process and description are straightforward and easy for anyone to follow the instructions. It leads you through the products to use on specific days in a guided and incremental process. The cleanser is quite nice and does a good job of removing makeup and cleansing. That's where this stops though. After 15 days (and more as the product lasted longer), there were no visible or noticeable effects. The serum did not 'improve texture or radiance' and did not 'reduce the look of dark spots' as promised. The cream wasn't particularly moisturizing either. For the steep cost of this 3 step system I'd say save your $$$

Started to see a real difference - but causes dryness!

I’ve just finished a 15-day sample kit from Riversol, where I had the chance to try the following:

‘Refreshing Gel Cleanser’
‘Anti-Aging Reparative Serum’
‘Daily Moisturizing Cream’
‘Exfoliating Glycolic Peel’

Phew! What a list!

So...???
For the first 5 days I only used the cleanser and moisturizer, and although I was very underwhelmed with the cleanser, I was amazed at how well the moisturizer really penetrated my skin and actually made a difference!

Once I started using the serum from day 6, it soon became obvious as to why the moisturizer was so rich! It had to be, as the serum caused my skin to become very dry and red. By day 15, I do feel that my skin is firmer and it does seem to be working on those fine lines, but the dryness is quite severe.

Finally, I tried the peel. This was a great treatment and family members even commented on how fresh and clear my skin looked.

I did enjoy this range and on the website it appears that alternative cleansers and concentrated moisturizers are available instead, if the dryness is an issue. As this is the case, I’ll be looking into building the kit that is right for me!

Made my skin Red and Itchy

I received this as a sample, 15 day trial. Within two days my skin had broken out was super red and itchy. I had to stop using it immediately.
Now with that said the products smelled great and were super silky, they just didnt work for me at all
