Fresh tasting and delicious

Each package comes with 2 individual jars of this strawberry and Chantilly cream. The jars are made out of glass so once you wash them you can keep them and they look super cute! I purchased these on sale at Sobeys for $2.99. I would buy them again if they are on sale. Their regular price is upwards of $5 which is too high for me.

These are a great snack idea because they are light yet decadent. The bottom layer is a mild tasting strawberry jam. The jam is not too sweet but it does give a fruity flavor. On top is a fresh cream which tastes like a mix of fresh sweetened whipping cream and Greek yogurt. The cream is thick and it makes you feel like you are indulging. These are quite healthy for you and low in calories which is good for anyone on a diet.

I bought this cute parfait for $2.99 at Metro as an after-dinner snack. Usually I have ice cream cones or chocolate bars, so this was a healthier alternative. When I first saw this at the store, I never expected it to be healthy as it look so decadent. Each comes with two little reusable glass containers with a strawberry fruit compote at the bottom. On top is a fresh cheese which reminds me of Greek yogurt. The strawberry puree has chunks of real strawberry in it and is only mildly sweet. The fresh cheese tastes like a mild vanilla yogurt.

I read the dairy company that makes this product, called Chalifoux, is based out of Quebec. So it's great to also support a Canadian family-owned business. I'd buy this again if I found it on sale.
