Gives a nice and refreshing uplift to tired eyes. I don't really suffer from allergies, so I'm not claiming they will help alleviate those issues.
I've used other Japanese brands that really sting the eye to create tears (flushing the eye). This is much more manageable and less extreme. I purchased this because it says it is safe for contacts. I don't know if this is true or not but after a month of using it intermittently with contact wear, I haven't seen a deterioration of my lenses.
