Looking for alternatives

I like the sizes of these containers for leftovers to bring lunches to work but the only downside is they seem to melt in the microwave now where as they didn't so much in the past. I only reheat the food until warm almost hot but i find that i have to toss them after a few uses because plastic bits get loose so it doesn't make them very environmentally friendly.
