    Fantastic way to save money!

I received the Rubbermaid Freshworks Produce Saver and was a bit skeptical at first. But I #gotitfree and wanted to ensure that I was as open minded as I could be.

We are a fruit loving family and with a very active 11 month old daughter, her appetite has become quite curious. Upon reviewing my medium sized container, I decided to store my strawberries in it. I noticed immediately that the container fit more than 1 pint of strawberries, which was amazing. After 5 days of being in the fridge, we finally reached the last bit of berries and I was really impressed with the quality and taste. The container really helped them last longer. They were juicy and not bruised or mouldy.

I immediately recommend this container to my mom and would recommend this to anyone eating fruit because it will really help make your food last! Overall a great product! I was glad I got to try it and Rubbermaid has always done things well, this container is definitely on top of my list!

Works good but on the pricey side

I received the Rubbermaid Fresh Works Produce Saver for free from ChickAdvisor in exchange for my honest review. #gotitfreE #RubbermaidFreshWorks i used this while camping to keep cut pineapple in the cooler and it worked great, kept the fruit crisper and fresher than storing it in a regular container. I'd
Ike to buy more if I can find them on sale!

    It works!

I wasn't sure how this would be any different compared to other containers, but I tried it with washed grapes and now I am a believer! Usually if you store washed fruit in a container in the fridge, the next day it becomes soggy and gross. The insert in Rubbermaid Freshworks Produce Saver lets all the water drip to the container and kept the washed grapes fresh! Two days later we still don't see any wrinkly grapes! So much more convenient than washing them every time you want some! I'm definitely going to pickup some of the other sizes.

    Great for salads

I #gotitfree from ChickAdvisor, and was excited to try this. We eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, but with a small household and Costco-sized produce, having a better way to store things is definitely a plus. I picked this up at London Drugs (where it's also on sale!) in the medium size (1.5L, it's bigger than it looks!).

The first thing I tried was bagged salad - I find it goes bad quickly when in the bag. After a few days in the FreshBooks box, the lettuce was still crispy and no brown spots, definitely a plus. I also liked that's it's easy to store in the fridge and frees up some space.

    Works as Advertised

I was a bit skeptical at first about how effective these containers would be. I tested them out on a pint of strawberries. Usually these go bad within 2-3 days if left in the regular clear plastic containers they are sold in. I was essentially able to get at least 1 extra week out of the strawberries before they showed a small hint of them starting to go bad. Definitely would consider a future purchase if pricing is right. I've seen them on sale at Costco in a pack of 3 for $20 which is pretty decent.

Not magic, but buys you a few more days.

I was lucky enough to get to try this free from Chickadvisor #gotitfree

I tested with strawberries because that's what was on the packaging and looked impressive. After five days you can see a difference between the ones in the Freshworks container and the ones in the plastic container from the store. In the picture here it is the one on the right that was in the Freshworks container. I wouldn't say that it keeps fresher 80% longer as they claim, but it buys you a few extra days. Although I wish I had thought to put a few strawberries in a regular tupperware to compare that as well.
