A good solution for produce

I did have a bit of a hard time finding the containers. They weren't at 2 grocery stores I went to but I did find them at Canadian Tire.

I tried salad mix in the container first. It did seem to stay quite fresh and after 4 days there weren't any slimy pieces! I also tried farmers market strawberries and they also seemed to stay fresh longer than they do in the packaging they come in. To be absolutely sure that they stay fresher I'd like to compare the same produce in a FreshWorks container and in another container or bag.

I will continue to use this one!

Throw away your other containers!

This container is amazing! It really does keep your fruits and veggies fresh and crisp. The seal shuts right so you don't have to worry about it opening up in your bag or in the trunk. It's also a great size - veggies and fruit take up alot of room so this box has the height to take alot more. The design is modern and fresh and clean so it gives you the confidence that your food will also stay fresh and clean. .

Saved my strawberries

I got a medium Rubbermaid Freshwords Produce Saver container free from ChickAdvisor in exchange for an honest review. I had some initial difficulties finding this product at my usual grocery store even though they sold other Rubbermaid brand food storage products. I was eventually able to locate this item at Canadian Tire. As for the container itself, I tested it out with some fresh strawberries which are notorious for going squishy and/or moldy if they aren't store in the perfect conditions. After moving the strawberries from their store packaging to the freshworks container and tossing them in the fridge, I've been snacking on them for three days without issues. This container seems to work well for produce that is easily effected by moisture levels. I do think this item is a bit pricey, but it will likely pay for itself in the long run.

Highly Recommend to Everyone!

This container is AMAZING. I bought strawberries from the farmer's market 2 Saturdays ago. I had intended on eating them within a week, however left for the Canada Day long weekend and forgot about them. Opened up the container today, and only 3 had gone bad! I will definitely be picking up more of these!

Keeps everything airtight and well sealed. great product.

What I like about these containers is how the seal stays tight and this keeps the food inside fresher longer. Even when you put them in dishwasher they keep their shape. Great product.

Hard to tell if this works

I was so excited to try the Rubbermaid Freshworks Produce Saver. I loved the idea of a product that can help my produce last longer, but I can't tell if the freshworks line does what it's supposed to do. I tested some strawberries to start, but they did go soft in some spots...perhaps it would have been worse had I not used the produce saver? Let's see what happens with some cherries next

Surprisingly great!

I was pretty skeptical that this container would work better than any other container or even the containers that most berries come in. But I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh my produce was! I tried it with strawberries, cucumber, peppers, grapes and blueberries, and all were kept fresh for a long time. I noticed the biggest difference with storing my grapes. When just stored in the plastic bag they come in, they start to soften and shrivel very quickly. In the produce saver, they stayed fresh and plump for over a week. I'll definitely be picking up more of these produce savers! #gotitfree

My poor berries

I was thrilled to be picked to try this by ChickAdvisor but ended up very disappointed. I went and picked 12 pints of fresh strawberries and filled the Produce Saver with some and left others in the cardboard containers used for picking. After two days in the fridge the ones in the original container were just as fresh as when I picked them, while those in the produce saver were moldy.

Worth every penny

It took me a while to find my Rubbermaid FreshWorks Produce Saver but when I did I was very happy with how well this product worked. I used it first to keep our cucumber fresh as that is always the first produce that goes off for me. This really worked. Next I used it to keep strawberries fresh and again was so happy with the results. I'll definitely buy a couple more as our produce is lasting so much longer. #gotitfree

I LOVE THIS

Recently I received a free product coupon to redeem for a RubberMaid Freshworks Produce Saver from Chickadvisor. This is a great product it saves my strawberries and lets them last twice as long ! No idea how I lived without this before. Worth every penny without a doubt !
