An investment now but will save from wasted produce later

I #gotitfree to try thanks to ChickAdvisor. Thanks! I found it was a bit pricy ($15 at my local Canadian Tire) for a medium sized container. But it did keep my produce fresh much longer than the fridge alone. I put a tomato in the container & eight days later it was still a firm and fresh as day one. Amazing! Of course if I wasn't testing out the container it wouldn't have lasted that long before getting eaten. But the possibility of getting probably nearly a week more out of my produce is great. It allows me to purchase larger quantities of produce without ending up wasting it by it going bad before me, myself, and I could eat it all. I could see this product being better for store multiple small items (e.g. berries, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, grapes, greens, etc) where every inch of the container can be utilized. I found larger produce such as full sized tomatoes and green peppers did fit as easily in the container especially if you had more than one (one fit with lots of room to spare but two didn't) & it is recommended to not wash or cut your produce before storing it in this container. So no "making it fit". A bit of creativity was also needed to fit the container in my fridge due to it being on the taller side.

Nous avons essayer le contenant Rubbermaid Fresh Work Produce Saver avec des fraises. Et nous avons fait le test aussi en laissant les fraises dans leur pot du supermarché. Après environ 4 jours celles qui étaient dans le plat de Rubbermaid étaient encore en excellents états, tandis que celles dans le pot du supermarché commençaient à noircir et à devenir plus molles.

Nous étions surpris de la qualité des fraises de celle de Rubbermaid! Wow!! Par contre, le prix de ce plat est un peu dispendieux. Environ 13$ pour un plat medium.

Rubbermaid FreshWorks Produce Saver

I got a chance to try the rubbermaid freshworks produce saver as a part of the product review club #gotitfree. I am already a big rubbermaid fan, i use their products for storage of products like clothes and food. the products are always high quality and affordable. This products was no different. We received a medium sized container which is a pretty good size for any salads or chopped up veggies or fruits. It's used as any normal Tupperware except there is a green piece which helps with air circulation. To be honest I don't know how it works but it does! I noticed that the salad I kept in the container actually stayed fresh longer than it normally would, which is what this products promises. It is a good product to consider purchasing as it can save you money overtime. A lot of times I have to throw out a salad because it spoils or browns and this product will help to prevent that (or at least lengthen the time until that happens).

A Fresher take on Produce!

The Rubbermaid Freshwork Produce Saver is a great product that is super easy to use. You just place whatever type of veggies or fruit you would like to store in your fridge and it keeps them fresh up to 7days longer then usual.

I tested the product out with a few items, once was grape's and they were crisp even after 5 days just as if I had just purchased them. Another was blueberries and no mold could be seen on them after almost a week. I was super impressed with how the product worked.

Now onto the quality of the product. It is a great solid plastic that is made well. It seems like it should last a long time and is very durable.

Overall it is a fantastic product that actually does do what it's suppose to. It's really durable and even with stands being washed in the dishwasher. The price is pretty high though for a container. This might turn people off of the product that is the only negative. Otherwise I think I might go back and purchase the larger container for salads etc.

I really liked using this Rubbermaid FreshWorks Produce Saver container it helped me alot with keeping my produce fresher and lasting longer. It kept my lettuce from spoiling in my fridgerator and I had it for alonger period of time to use in salads and on my sandwiches which I liked. Usually my lettuce goes bad quickly and this product really helped me alot. I recommend this product to everyone who likes to keep their produce from going bad in their fridgerator by using this excellent Rubbermaid FreshWorks Produce Saver container. #gotitfree

Little pricey but great product Rubbermaid Freshworks

For me the price is a little too much. $15.99 for a medium container at my local Save On Foods. The construction is great, its feels heavy duty and a nice size. i used it with an onion. After a week the onion appears way better in the freshworks container than in a regular bowl or bag. #gotitfree Rubbermaid thanks for letting me try it out!

Rubbermaid FreshWorks Produced Saver is awesome

I received a full value coupon from ChickAdvisor for the Rubbermaid FreshWorks Produce Saver. It's a cute clear container with a white and green lid - easy to find among a cupboard full of plastic storage containers. We used it for fresh strawberries, and I do think it extended their lifespan in the fridge. I would recommend these storage containers for sure.

Great produce saver

Of all the things I have tried to save my produce... I have to say that FreshWorks ranks high on my list. From a company I have come to rely on for quality I was excited to get to try this product.

Fresh fruits for extra days

I had washed my strawberries and cut them up and they stayed fresh a few days after they usually would go bad. I found my husband who is not a fruit eater going in the fridge and taking a handful of berries and enjoying then. Since I have gotten the produce container I have not stoped using it.

Amazing product! Really works!!

The day after I received and redeemed my coupon, I happened to have the opportunity to go strawberry picking with a friend, so it was perfect timing to have my Rubbermaid Fresh Works Produce Saver.

After strawberry picking I put some of the strawberries in the Fresh Saver, and some I just left in the picking basket and put them in the fridge.

Now, we all know that fresh strawberries from a field always seem to go bad a little faster than grocery store strawberries, and these ones weren't treated with pesticides or preservatives, so the shelf life for them isn't long at all.

I have had my strawberries in the Fresh Works Produce Saver for 5 days now and they look exactly the same as when I put them in there! They are absolutely perfect! Meanwhile, the strawberries in the fridge in the basket are all very dark, over ripe, soft and going bad. I may be able to salvage them if I make them into jam, but they are definitely not in great shape after 5 days, which I would expect!

I'm amazed at how well the Fresh Works container works. It's crazy to see that the strawberries haven't changed at all in 5 days. This is an amazing product that really does work! I love it!
