Keeping it Fresh with Rubbermaid!

The new Rubbermaid FreshWorks Produce Saver is a great addition for many households and I was really excited to share my review. #gotitfree

It doesn't take up too much room in the fridge at all, which is always a concern. It has an easy to open lid where you can place your produce item inside and the CrispTray helps to keep moisture away. I also think the quality of the plastic is quite good.

For me, I chose to test out blueberries since they are one of my favourite fruits this time of the year to buy. The sad part is that they only tend to last a 2-3 days max, even when I take them out of the original packaging and put them in a regular sealed container. This is more disheartening because I can only buy small packages at a time, otherwise they will spoil/get moldy or just become inedible.

After experimenting with the use of putting blueberries in the FreshWorks Produce Saver, it really worked at extending the life of the blueberries. I was able to keep them in the fridge for over 5 days without any issues. Now I am seeing a bit of moisture develop, so I need to use them up, but I am pretty happy with the results.

It's a bonus that you can purchase various sizes for whatever produce you want to store or depending on your needs. Maybe a few different colour options would be great!

The only downside is that the price is a bit steep for each item, however, it is still a good investment so you're able to eat fresh produce more often and not have to worry about spoilage which is a drain on your time, energy, as well as your wallet.

Say Bye-bye to produce waste!

I must admit, I was skeptical when I first received this item for free from Chick Advisor! So before I posted my review, I tested it for 5 days. I put strawberries (washed) in the Rubbermaid Freshworks Produce Saver and other strawberries in a different container. The result was obvious! The berries in the Rubbermaid Freshworks Produce Saver remained bright red and looked alive. The other ones, were looking dry. I'm convinced! I love this, and I already bough the Large one!

J'ai reçu un plat Rubbermaid FreshWorks gratuitement dans le cadre du club des bancs d'essai. J'ai testé le plat en y mettant des fraises. 3 jours plus tard, les fraises restantes étaient encore belles et avaient bon goût. De plus, il n'y avait pas de trace de condensation. Je peux donc dire qu'effectivement les fruits gardent leur fraîcheur plus longtemps.

The 3 piece kit would be a great addition to your kitchen

This container is a great size to hold a full head of lettuce or a large lunch salad. The product remains moist and you can see the condensation on the produce. (If you like dry product this container is not for you).

The variety of sizes allow for you to store and carry a balanced amount of produce optimal for a healthy lifestyle.

Also great is that these containers are BPA free and are dishwasher safe, and even better the filter that allows for fresh produce doesn't have to be removed and changed, it is guaranteed to last the entire life of the container

I picked up my medium container at Walmart where it is sold for $11.67; also available to purchase are the small and large kits, and the 3 piece kit.

Wish I Had more

Nothing beats fresh berries and produce in the summer but sometimes they go bad before I can even get to enjoy them. This Rubbermaid container was great, I got a bit more life out of my strawberries than I had expected to. It fits perfectly In my fridge. I just wish they weren't so expensive. Even though I received this product free, It was about $9 for a medium sized container which is honestly not that big at all. I would like to buy more but I don't think I can justify that price for containers.

A product saver!

I received the Rubbermaid FreshWorks Product Saver for free from being selected for the Product Review Club. I was so excited to be selected for the campaign as I am the only person in the house that eats fruits and veggies, so they always tend to go back so quickly. As soon as I received my coupon for my FreshWorks Product Saver, I went to Walmart to get it! I have had strawberries in it for a week so far to test it and they are just as fresh as is I just purchased today. Usually Strawberries go bad within four days and so far I'm at seven with no signs at all of them going bad! I am so impressed!

Awesome product I needed this container.

I got the coupon for a free medium Rubbermaid Freshworks Produce Saver just today. I decided that right away I would go get it and bring it home. I got it at Wal-Mart Super center. I love the look of it, but it was a little smaller than I thought it would be. I took it and put the last of our lettuce into it. I believe this Rubbermaid container will do wonders for our food it's a very inventive solution for fresh produce. I love it and I'd definitely would buy this product.

Saved the Day!!!

I LOVE this product! I usually keep my strawberries in their original carton with no lid. They last between 4-5 days before getting a little disfigured. I've had this batch of berries in for over a week, and they're fresh as the first day! Usually they'd be in the garbage by now-but this container saved the produce!! I #gotitfree from #ChickAdvisor in exchange for my honest review. I'll be going and getting the size bigger container for lettuce and a smaller one for blueberries and other small berries. Thanks, Rubbermaid! This container is the bomb!!!

Effective and Impressive!

I received this product free for testing purposes. These containers are seriously impressive. I used mine for fruit (raspberries, specifically). Normally, I buy fruit/berries at the grocery store on Sunday, and by Tuesday, it's already moldy. With the FreshWorks container, my berries lasted over a week, and were still fresh, crisp, and juicy! These containers are affordable, but also help save you money, as you won't be throwing away your produce, because it lasts significantly longer. They are easy to clean and store, and come in a variety of sizes. I'd recommend this product and will definitely be purchasing more!

Having a baby who's just starting to eat solids, I was worried about fresh fruit and produce going bad quickly. I bought the produce saver iffy if actually worked. To my surprise everything stayed fresh longer than usual!
