I love runts

These things have a fruity taste that is unplaceable as any real fruit I have ever tasted. They have a distinct extra crunchy chalk like texture. The red ones taste mostly like red food coloring. I know what you are thinking "all of those things combined sound awful, unpalatable, and just disgusting" but runts, which are all of those things and more, manage to come out on top and blasting with deliciousness.

As a kid I thought these were the greatest but as an adult they aren't my favourite. The taste reminds me of candy Rockets, powdery and lacking flavour. The shapes are adorable and they are fun for kids but I think I'll pass :)

I have always loved these ever since I was a kid and I spent most of my childhood digging the bananas from these candy boxes, delicoius hard candies that come in all the flavors of different fruits

Runts are one of my favorite candies! I love all the flavours and it's so much fun that they are shaped like fruit. The red ones are my favorite. Super good candy to have at the movies of when you have a sweet tooth craving.

Runts (also known as Fruit Runts) are hard candies sold by Nestle under their Willy Wonka Candy Company brand. First seen on the market in 1982, these candies are in the shape, color and flavor of a selection of fruits. Original Runts have a hard candy shell with a somewhat powdery center (the center being the consistency of the more-familiar Sweet Tarts). I have loved these candy forever. I have some wonderful memories of runts as a girl, and still enjoy them every now and then still. I try to keep treat night to Saturdays, I love when I pick these up, they still excite me. I love Runts always have always will, the orange are my favorite. If you have not tried runts, give yourself a wonderful treat. I am a penny candy junkie, and this is definitely one of my weakness. Can't help it, I have these at least once a month and have for years.
