Meh!

I have wanted to try RXBAR's for an incredibly long time and was excited when I found the Chocolate Sea Salt version on sale at my local grocery store. I was sadly left disappointed. It hardly tastes like chocolate and the sea salt was few and far between. It was almost like one giant chunk of dates. It was incredibly chewy and I had to pick date residue out of my teeth for half an hour after eating the bar. I enjoy the simplicity of the ingredients but much to my surprise, it's actually not that good for you. It contains 2 g or 10% of your DV of saturated fats and 13g or 13% of your DV of sugars. It does contain 12g of protein which I appreciate but I would rather eat something else to satisfy my protein needs. This was a miss for me and I am happy I didn't purchase a full box.

The Chocolate is a Lie

I was really excited to try this bar for obvious reasons. Instantly wanted to try this bar out because it was suppose to taste like chocolate. Sadly the bar had a weak delivery with the chocolate making the taste of date & sea salt more prominent. I couldn't get myself to finish it. The bar itself is chewy & has pieces of sea salt encrusted into the bar. I will definitely not consider buying this.
