Wonderful product
I was looking for an alternative to toast since having bariatric surgery. These crackers work perfect. I top them with a poached egg or some goat cheese as a snack. They have a great variety of flavours which work with what ever your needs are. My only complaint is the texture. It can get a bit soggy in your mouth.
I have been enjoying Ryvita Crispbread for years. It is a healthy alternative to bread and makes a nice snack or can be used as the base of a great lunch. My current favourite flavour is the the Pumpkin Seed and Oats Variety. It has 90 calories for two slices and provides a delicious, crisp base for a tasty open faced sandwich. I love to top this crispbread with cheese and avocado. The crispy texture is wonderful, satisfying but light.
The first time I had this was with my Tuna and veggies. It paired very nicely, and was a nice substitute for bread. Very light, but yet still filling.
I bought Multi-grain version and also Muesli crunch. Multi-grain is a bit too dry and powdery but I was impressed with the simplicity of the ingredients. Nothing artificial.
Muesli crunch has an excellent taste due to inclusion of dried cranberries
Have loved this for years. It is great with butter or margarine spread on it. Also with cheddar cheese. Love this! You could also use the spreadable cream cheese. They come in different flavours. A very good lunch or snack.
I like incorporating as much fibre in my diet as possible, topping these with a high protein topping like a light egg salad or chicken salad. Just discovered a new flavour, black pepper. Delish!
