It's a supplement which means it has no standards of effiacy

I really dislike supplement products like this. It's capitalizing off real public interest in scientific developments like the effort to make a pill that cures hangover. Supplements have basically no standards of evidence that they have to work and actually do something to get on the market. Many of them are contaminated with other substances and even heavy metals. I'm excited that there may be a hangover cure pill but I don't like supplement companies exploiting people's interest in that and offering something with no evidence. A similar thing has been done with interest in a sunscreen pill. This is a real thing that's being developed as we speak but supplement companies took advantage of people's interest in that and mislead them by selling their own "sunscreen pill" supplements that they haven't proven that they work.
