First don't let the “shiny” part scare you off from trying this lotion. There's no sparkles but only a bit of a shine in the bottle, I never noticed it on my arms. It does have a nice sweet lemony scent, nothing to strong and it doesn't last ever long on my skin. It's very liquidly moisturizer and I wouldn't say it packs huge hydration. I tend to use it on my arms where I just need a bit and not on my dryer legs.
